Carrum Beach

I moved into Carrum this year the beach is superb its rarely crowded and has the Patterson River close by plus lots of great food places on the Nepean Hwy the beach is shallow and safe theres the local surf life saving club patrols it as well plus a nice kiddies playground its certainly a great place for families‼️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Beautiful Beach for relaxing and having a good time with Family & Friends!

Beautiful beach with clear water and clean sand. People do bring their dogs to this beach let them off leads, which didn't bother me but it might for some. Also right on the edge near the rocks do not swim.. there is a deep hole not far out that will literally take you under and drag you down, it's a channel for the boats that come and go on the other side of rocks. Please be aware! There's a sign saying no swimming! Parking isn't free.. if you park in the car park. It's free if you park down the streets out front of the houses. Great fishing spots up on the rocks and not too far down the river area where boats come in and out..under the bridge has fishing spots also

I recently visited Carrum Beach and had an amazing time. The beach itself is beautiful, with soft white sand and clear blue water. The beach was not too crowded and had plenty of space for everyone to spread out and enjoy the sun and the sea. The beach is also patrolled by lifeguards which is a plus.

Carrum beach has a long boardwalk that runs along the beach, which is perfect for a morning or evening stroll.

The beach has a playground and a skatepark, which sidney use. There is also a large carpark and toilets, making it easy to spend a whole day at the beach.

Overall, I highly recommend visiting Carrum Beach. It's a beautiful spot, perfect for a day out with the family, a picnic or a swim. The beach is well-maintained and offers plenty of facilities, making it a great destination for a day trip or a weekend getaway.

One of the best beaches on the bay, gorgeous white sand and shallow enough for swimming. It is dangerous near the mouth of the Patterson river and there has been drownings...but you can't fool proof everything. There are clear warning signs. It has a railway station for people not wanting to bring a car. It gets VERY crowded on hot days during holiday periods. Lovely take away food for hungry people just across the road.

Great night 2022 new year. I went carrum beach spent more then 7hrs it was very great night with husband and my 🐶 puppy. when they start fire work she scared but she enjoyed lot. The place to spend a warm summer's day. The water is shallow and, on a good day, very clear. Sunset was really beautiful. it's very pleasant and unforgettable night.

It's certainly one of my favourite beaches in Melbourne! The waters are clear and the sand is white. It's an ideal beach for families. There's a limited number of free parking spots on Nepean Highway but it's quite challenging to find one during peak times.
