The sopaipilla was as hard as rock, the carne asada was chewy and cold and was so salty it was like licking a salt block, the salad was the cheapest salad mix you can buy at king soopers with the bonus of being greasy, the appetizer came out after the entrees. Our waiter was absent the entire time. This place sucks.

Love the nachos. Drinks are good as well. My friend told me their tacos were so delicious. The ambience was good and they were playing nice music as well. Highly recommend this place

Great Mexican food Downtown Denver. Walking distance from most hotels, along the 16th street mall. Had the steak, chicken and shrimp fajitas. Kitchen forgot the shrimp, but my waitress, Tania, made it right and brought me the shrimp in a separate bowl. No issues there. Had 2 draft beers. They were nice and cold. The atmosphere/music was lively. They were playing lots of Cuban music, which I liked. Will definitely return to try other dishes.

Excellent salsa, good burritos, tasty margaritas what more can you ask for?

Salsa is excellent. Good texture/flavor and the chips are sturdy but still fresh and crispy. Queso was great as well. Good creamy texture and it had some meat to it.

The Al Pastor Grilled burrito is excellent, plenty of meat and a good ratio of filling. Not too dry on the inside and the sauces are fantastic. Be sure to ask for extra poblano cream sauce, it’s good on chips too if you have extra somehow.

Got to try a margarita and it was very tasty, no one was willing to share their tacos so I guess they were good too. Overall pleased, we will come back.

Overall great restaurant. Went on a Friday night, busy but not overly busy, seated right away, server/waiter was prompt, answered my questions and offered suggestions. Had the Margaritas, I had passion fruit and my friend had the prickly pear, the prickly pear was a bit better, both great. For food, I had the Al Pastor grilled burrito, it was spicy (hot) and super good. My friend had the chorizo shrimp burger and it was delicious, different, and said he’d get it again for sure. The fries were also super good and different. Would come back again! Only suggestion I would have is warm chips, chips we had were cold but the salsa was fantastic.

The food and vibes were on spot. There was an NBA Nuggets game on, so people were really engaged in watching that. My food came out within 10 minutes or less of ordering. I sat at the bar, and the service was great. I ordered tacos, and it was just the right amount of food. I recommend the kiwi pepino margarita, but it is a small serving size. Seeing all of the larger margaritas come out made me jealous for comparison reasons.

I'd come back to check out the extensive tequila and mezcal list! I tried the carne asada taco, the vegetal taco, and el pastor taco.

Great place, had lunch here today and the service was excellent and the food was just as good. Great that they play traditional Mexican music, nice atmosphere also. I had the taco salad with vegetarian black beans, very well made and delicious, they bring chips and salsa and I love that they bring water chilled without ice. My server Lane was great, he wasn’t smothering, checked back after I received my food to see if everything was to my liking and then let me enjoy my meal. Lots of great menu items, some great vegetarian options.
