Ferman Pera Hotel (Beyoğlu)

I was worried at first after reading previous reviews about the level of cleanliness of this hotel. Stayed here for 2 nights from 24th till 26th of October. Was travelling alone. The location of this hotel is good, within walking distance from Taksim Square and İstiklal Street. My room was thankfully clean. The room wasn't spacious but i didn't mind this and I've been to Istanbul many times staying at different hotels , so it's pretty standard that room sizes are mostly on the smaller side wherever you stay in the center. No breakfast was included but many restaurants in the area that you can eat from. My biggest issue during my stay here was the level of noice at night. My room had windows and was right next to the street so it was difficult to fall asleep at night because of the noise despite having the windows closed shut. If you're a sensitive sleeper, pls try to ask for a room away from the street or room with no windows.

NIGHTMARE! bad experience, barbarian staff, dirty rooms, bad service! will not recommend at all nor come back to this hotel! The staff were very rude and disrespectful, their attitude was uncvilized and barbarian, they shouted and said bad words to me and my wife so at the end we had to call the police! My wife and I had to deal with a very humlating situation as they threw our stuff outside the room as we were not there! They simply went to our room packed everything in plastic bags and threw them out! Then they called us to collect our luggage! The shampoo got spilled all over our clothes and they just ruined the rest of our holiday, when we complained about it they started screaming and swearing at us and asked us to leave the hotel immediately with a dozen of plastic bags filled with our ruined stuff! Unbelievable and not acceptable at all !!!

Excellent service, very good location. Stuff was excellent specially batur and kasim the reception guys are amazing and very friendly

The hotel in general and the room were very dirty. Moreover, there was no sound proof windows, and it was impossible to sleep due to the noise. Receptionist also requested to pay upfront the whole amount. Perhaps he was afraid that we might leave after the first night. The only positive thing was that they changed us room after our complaints. Lastly, wifi was really slow.

It's very bad hotel we ask and we pay for a luxury room and we payd on ligne everything.. From the receptionist very bad speaking . Room very bad only bad in room no tables . Very bad smell shiwe not clean. I ask to change the room the receptionist sad we don't have only this . If you take this room or take your suitcases and go out ii ask the police to come. With me in the hotel to check this problem after 2 hours I get the room because we are tired
.next day we are going out from 10am and we back to hotel by 7pm . And more surprise. Room not cleaning towels in the floor not changed bed not changed and not arranget is very bed hotel this is no more than 1 star

We didn't have any sleep because of the noise not only from outside the windows but also from the hotel lobby. The door and windows were very thin you could hear everything. When we told the staff our second day that problem they were understanding but they couldn't change us rooms until the next night. When we eventually got a better room on the second floor at the back of the hotel we could still hear the loud music from the clubs around the hotel but we couldn't do something about it. The staff was friendly but we lack communication, the rooms were a little small but just fine for the days we were there BUT the toilet didn't have a ventilation system and the door was glass and didn't close all the way!!!! The only good thing was the location of the hotel it is in Istiklal and a 4 minute walk to Taksim Square.
