The park itself is great! The sledding hill is fun as long as you have a good piece of cardboard (better bring your own) and don’t hit any pot holes on the way down. Sadly, on our most recent visit, we noticed that someone wiped away a chalk drawing we had made about a week before. My fiancé and I had made a chalk drawing of Bingo from the show Bluey, hoping it would bring others a smile. We returned about a week later, it not having rained since our previous visit, but someone had washed or wiped away the drawing completely. I’m not sure how long anyone was able to enjoy it before it disappeared.

What’s good? In contrast to the adjacent Coolidge Park, this park brings a little more nature and seclusion to the table. The area has a bit of a wetlands feel with the water being controlled in an artistic fashion that’s pleasing to the eye. Great spot to chill and escape the hustle and bustle of the area.

What’s bad? My only critique is that I would rather the wetlands overlook path continued on as a complete bridge.

Beautiful park, trails, and picnic area! The park is perfect for families and dog owners to enjoy the natural beauty of Chattanooga. Great views of downtown paired with so great wooded areas to explore. Very nice park

Great Park to hang out on a nice day. Parking was a bit of a struggle, but that's everywhere really. Great views and lots to do.

We love walking through this parkway.
It is a Great walking park.
But there is a negative @night, Homeless folk's and Drunk folk's hang out on the benches/table's near the public bathrooms next to parking lot and those extremely expensive apartments.
I was actually sitting in my vehicle eating because I didn't want to sit at benches because 2 Drunk Homeless People were Arguing Really Loud and I watched the whole thing from the vehicle.
That's become the problem in these park's in downtown Chattanooga.
I use to visit Coolidge park alot, every wknd but it's become unsafe at night.
That's unfortunate because it's also a great walking family park

A brilliant little park accented by a towering hill with great views of the bridge and surrounding area. Perfect for walking a dog as several doggy "business" stations can be found throughout.
