Japanese Boutique in Little Tokyo

If you love Japanese style boutique hotels that come with a blend of quirky decor and uniquely Asian chic vibes then you would love this place. All the common areas ooze a a very interesting boho-chic charm and character - decorated using japanese antique pieces and fittings. However the biggest weakpoint of this place (pretty common in most japanese style accommodations) is the spartan setting of the rooms and lack of space. The room was quite compact and pretty much lacked even the most basic amenities - like a Water heating flask or even a simple closet for storage. IF you are ok to manage with that then this is a great option at a great location

LOCATION: Located in Stadt Mitte - a quick walk away from teh train station and all key points of interest in old town.

DINE + DRINK: The 11th floor Lounge is pretty cool and the lobby level cafe is a great place for a wicked coffee in the morning.

ROOM: We stayed in Room 510, so this review is based on that; SIZE: Super compact and barely enough for 2 adults and simple baggage; VIEW: ; AIR-CON: Perfectly functioning cooler that helped in setting the perfect room temperature; BED: Comfortable bed that played the expected part of putting us to sleep; BATHROOM: Compact Stand-in shower; TOILETRIES: good spa quality toiletries.

FACILITIES: Compact Gym with a basic range of weights and Cardio machines that is good enough for a decent workout. But the fact that is located in the second level basement might make you feel very claustrophobic!

SERVICE: Friendly staff that took care of all our needs with a smile and made us feel at home and well taken care of. Special Shout-out to LYDIA from the front desk for enhancing our stay.

HOW WIRED YOU WILL BE: Free Wi-Fi that works well all over the property, and the speed is good! Big Smart TV dishing out a wide variety of channels spanning sports, news, music, movies, and entertainment in multiple languages

Very shocked this is a 4 star hotel.
-The housekeeping just walks in. And is very loud. I thought some family is trying to move out to be on time for the check out. But then the“family” walks into my room!
-speak about the housekeeping, if you want your bathrobe to be washed, don’t ever expect it back…. They just don’t give.
-There’s no phone to call reception to get any service, so you have walk from your room to downstairs, you’ll probably be disappointed because they don’t have enough staff to walk up, so another day wasted.
-the locks in the room don’t work.
-tv doesn’t work because of poor wifi signal.
-no mini bar in the room, only sponsored water, and sponsored coffee.
Let’s not even talk about the sponsored pillows.

I really feel like i didn’t get the service i should get for 4 stars. I feel rather irritated than relaxed because of this hotel.

Everything feels sponsored and trying to be solved in the most cheap way. Its way better to go to the Clayton. Service there is amazing. Japanese atmosphere and politeness that will make you feel super comfortable.

It's a great hotel. The room is spacious and sophisticated.
The shower and sink design is exclusive and satisfying. The front staff are
amiable and helpful. Moreover, the location is superlative in Dusseldorf. Anywhere is within 10 minutes of walking distance, including the central station, Koenigs Allee, Altstadt, and it is effortless to travel further via tram or bus.
A variety of Japanese restaurants are just around the corner. A touch of Japanese decor in the room was also pleasant and put me at ease.

Had a great stay. The room was clean and spacious and the hotel has a nice atmosphere overall.

There's a parking garage which can be used for €30,- a day. It is quite small though and cannot be reserved in advance. We managed to pick the last spot luckily.

The Sky Lounge has a great view. And the location is perfect for a small weekend city trip.

Definitely not a 4 stars hotel. No phone at room to call reception. No coffee machine in room. Air conditioning doesn’t work well, so expect the room to be a bit chill in winter. Claimed to have Netflix but they mean only the app in TV but not the subscription. The name of room is ‘king size bed room’ but only features a double bed. Not enough lighting in bathroom, I literally showered in the dark.

A very chic hotel conveniently located close to the center. New and modern furniture, with very good air conditioning, very good quality bedding and mattress. Very interesting and for the first time I encountered at a hotel in Europe was the location of the sink in the hall at the entrance to the room and not in the bathroom. Very strange for me.

Great experience in Dusseldorf. If you like asian food and markets thats the place for you. Great size for room and bathroom. Everything was very clean and neat.
Location was the high point, right n the middle of shopping area and the train station. We did all walking.
Down point no refrigerator in the room and AC doesnt get cold some nights we opened the window.
The bathroom is a good size but it doesnt have shower curtains or door to separate from toilet... but it didnt bothered us.
I loved to be in asian district.
