Hof Gorei Beach Resort

Its OK but if you are old and handicapped its no good because they have many stairs, when the beach is low tide you can't swim and the pool is not for kids. The food is expensive but is good. Also didn't really feel safe there because I didn't see Security there

Wonderful place to stay.. staff are very accommodating. Highly recommended on all tourist.

6. High algae formation in the sea shore of the ocean. Periodic cleaning is required. Every 15 days or 30 days cleaning of algae is required which depends upon degree of accumulation.
7. More domestic animals (dogs and cats) roaming freely with disease and wounds
8. Food is not hygienic. We 20 people checked in recently. In our team nearly 11 doctors were there.
9. Nearly 16 people affected by severe bacterial infection. We paid more money in tablets and hospitals.
10. We extended further our travel by two days which incurred room tariff as well adjustment in flight tickets.
11. Many rooms in the resorts are abandoned.
12. More trees, flowers, white parrots which added beauty to the resort.
13. No reception at all in the resort
14. Sea shore lighting at night time is very good.
15. Owner is purely responsible for all the above back logs.
16. Owner, please do not play with public and provide necessary facilities in resort.
17. Government officials should take some regulatory measures & inspection for streamlining these kind of issues.
18. Scenary and natural beauty is excellent. There is a good scope for developing the resort.
19. Owner, please take this matter in positive manner and develop the resort atleast to the minimal.
20. Or, lease the resort to other third party who is keen in developing the resort.
21.Owner, am humbly requesting you not to cheat the public. Please change yourself and let us change before change changes us.
22. No first aid box in the resort.

+: nature, beautiful room in a bungalow, small beach with no depth in the water, welcoming and smiling staff

-: in the bedroom, dust around the bedside lamp. No control...
Only 1 roll of toilet paper, only 1 shampoo sachet for the whole stay (2 days) we had to claim...
The beds are not made unless you think to ask. At the rental price, do not spoof....
The food is served lukewarm as the kitchen is far away. Nothing extraordinary, the beef is tough.... The poorly trained waiter does not know how to distinguish the dishes... The wait for drinks is sometimes very long when there are few people....
Breakfast without fruit juice
The toilets are without soap. Of course, I noticed...
We are on vacation but breakfast served until 09:00!
Caged birds and a depressed monkey alone in his cage

Not for handicapped people.

Too bad because the place deserves to be managed by real professionals!

‼️👎🏻If you want to relax, this is definitely not the place for you! Before booking, I called their hotline to ask if the room that they will be giving to me is accessible since my 68 year old dad is a dialysis patient and can no longer tolerate a long distance walk. The front desk told me “there’s a car that will send my dad to the nearest route to our room and I’ll just pay ₱200 for it. I was ok with that. Then I ask again “are you sure that it’s near? Then she said “just a short walk”. I then sent 2000 pesos as reservation fee. Upon arriving, the parking area was way too far from our room, then I checked the distance from the room to the drop-off area for my dad, it’s about a 200 meters walk!! Seriously?!! I just said that my dad cannot tolerate a long distance walk. I ask for a refund for my reservation fee since they we’re not being honest about their resort’s location & condition but they did not return my money.
And 1 more thing, their place is not located in a slightly slope area, IT IS A SUPER STEEP PLACE & endless stairs. If possible, THEY DO NOT DESERVE ANY STAR. I just placed one just so I could post my review

The place is great if you want to take a break from work and outside the busy world. They have wifi but can't hold enough. They have their own restaurant, but I highly suggest you bring your own snacks and necessities when coming to the resort. Their staff are friendly and accommodating. There are assigned butlers in every room, so you wouldn't have to worry about your needs during your stay.

We stayed at this resort in November. We liked the beautiful, lush garden, chickens, turkeys, dogs, cats roaming freely. There are parrots in the cages and a monkey which I personally do not like, they could live freely, why to cage them?
The service from Alfred was nice, he was kind and attended all our needs.
The food is average.
The wife signal is week.
The mobile signals not existent (we had Globe and Smart).
I would not recommend this resort to elderly people and people with small children as it located on the hill side with many steps.
The beach was not up to our liking, we preferred to hire a boat and go a bit far from the shore to swim.
The giant clams farm is worth to visit.
