Not impressed. Paid extra for the advertised "river front view", turns out they only have "partial view" rooms, so we got to view the street and buildings across the street. Basic TV, don't even have smart tvs. Dented up fridge, Parking only for vehicles under 7ft, so don't show up in a diesel. Had to park 2 blocks up the hill and pay $24..... on top of the $300 room. Not worth it at all. Very disappointed.
Room was way nicer than I was expecting. Granted, it’s costs $200 so it better be nice. It’s still one of the cheapest options in the National Harbor area. The room was big and spacious with a kitchen, to include a coffee maker, stove, full size fridge/ freezer, (no microwave). Couch, roomy bathroom, comfortable bed (pillows too deflated, need to improve them). Overall tho I still give it 5 stars, had a Christmas party at the Gaylord and would have been pointless to spend $400+ to stay there when Residence Inn had everything and is across the street. Parking is extra $24.

Unprofessional Management and Severe Inconvenience:
I began my extended stay at the Residence Inn National Harbor on October 7th, 2023, during my home renovation. Regrettably, this period has been marred by unprofessional management, specifically by the Operations Manager, Ms. Kalisha Webb, leading to a decision to relocate.

Despite resolving a sudden rate increase issue with my adjuster and ALE Solutions, Ms. Webb refused to accommodate my continued stay. Her demeanor throughout was not just unprofessional but also lacked integrity, showcasing a bullying attitude and a striking inconsistency in her communications.

This situation has caused immense inconvenience. My son, home from college for the a month, and I now face the daunting task of relocating ourselves and our belongings to a new hotel. This unplanned move, amidst my home renovation, has added significant stress and disruption to our lives.

The kindness of other staff members at the hotel does little to offset the negative impact of Ms. Webb's conduct. Her refusal to provide necessary accommodation, even after the rate increase was approved, and her overall lack of professionalism and integrity have been the primary reasons for my decision to seek lodging with another hotel brand.

In summary, the management at Residence Inn National Harbor, particularly Ms. Webb's handling of my stay, has been a significant disappointment, leading to unnecessary stress and inconvenience for my family and me.

Uncomfortable beds. My room faces the mariner parking garage, it’s very loud with street noise. Area is a little more seedy than I expected. Wouldn’t stay again between the street noise and other guests screaming at eachother at 2am.

Overall a nice hotel to stay. Great convenient location on the harbor. Across the street from the Gaylord. Nice water view from our room. The included continental breakfast was surprisingly decent. Elevators are slow especially if your room is on the 7th floor. 24$ daily parking in the Mariner garage directly behind the hotel. Bed and pillows were slightly uncomfortable. Couch was very uncomfortable. Conveniently has a kitchenette with a microwave and Full sized fridge with ice maker. Bathroom was clean and had full sized eucalyptus lavender shampoo, conditioner, and body wash which was a plus. Hotel was quiet. Would stay here again in the future.

The rooms were okay. A/C was loud. The beds comfy. Housekeeping efficient. Along with a small kitchen, there is a full-size refrigerator and microwave in the room. The first night the A/C didn't work. This is not good during a heat wave! The next morning we asked the front desk for a fan. They immediately sent someone to reset the A/C. For us, the area around the Marriott was geared for the convention/conference crowd, not families on vacation or families with small children. It's a great venue if you're attending a conference or convention, but not for a family vacation.

Overall a decent experience. Parking was $23 per night at a parking garage across the street. Pet fee is $200.
Pros: Breakfast was included. There are lots of restaurants within walking distance and it is in a nice area of town. Room was clean and in good condition.
Cons: Mattresses are pretty firm and my back did not appreciate it. Sofa was also horribly uncomfortable to sit on. There is no pool or jacuzzi. Breakfast was a bit sad, the eggs were really rubbery and overcooked and the muffins were gummy on top and dry in the middle. There is no social hour offered at this property (unlike every other Residence Inn I've been to).
