Late night best time to travel, if your not wanting to deal with the crowds. Never fails... If you have any hardware installed expected to be patted down, TSA just doing their Job... Very helpful with directions. Terminal 4 under construction, so expect a little delay but not long.

Claudia L, Flores I, customer assistance representatives from LAX and agent Dee Harris from American Airlines were extremely helpful, kind, and compassionate today when I was sending my grandmother off to Hawaii to go back home. They went out of their way to problem solve so that my grandmother could make it on time to her flight, it wouldn’t have been possible without their excellent customer service, thanks a million!
Easy to find parking close to the terminal and pick up your passengers. Prices were fair, but try to pay at machines before leaving. It's difficult to reach from car, but they have people to help.
So happy that they have all the gates of the same airliners together. I was able to see my mom off at her gate which is big for me! She doesn’t speak English and I worried a lot if she can do the security check and go to the gate herself. Problem solved! I bought a domestic AA flight and my mom got one international flight with AA on the same day, and our gates were very close so I could say farewell to her at her gate! BTW, they do face scan to board now!
The terminal is clean and nice. Lots of restroom strategically-located. Best Innovation is a Starbucks at baggage claim where we can get a coffee and a wait for arrival pick up. Stacks of luggage carts are available dot-dot. If departure is really jammed... one can get dropped off at arrival pick up a carton take the escalators upstairs. Escalators are located towards the end of terminal 4
Terminal 4 for American Airlines is getting better. At least the food options have gotten much more localized, Samy’s Pizza is a great alternative to the normal food snacks there before. The yer I always is cleaner and modern, more fitting as a representative of Los Angeles.
And unlike anywhere else but LA, who would have thought of putting an actual food truck in an indoor food court, to represent the flavors of a food truck!

Wow this terminal is busy. Waiting for a flight to Dallas, Texas. I love the larger seating areas that have plugs and USB ports in the seating area. Had a great pizza at Sammy's Woodfire Pizza & Grill. It was crowded but service was excellent and the pizza delicious.
