Le Panoramic Hôtel

Super staff, especially in the bar. Good rooms with a great view and will be even better when they finish their restaurant in 2025. Sadly Sancerre seems to be facing an economic crisis, too many shops closing.

I'm a little bit torn about this place. The first night was amazing. Great view, lovely service, we even saw young deer 🦌 in the wine fields below, and the location is great. A lovley dip in the pool, with nice towels. If it stayed like this I would have gone with a 4 star hotel for sure!

On Monday, however, construction began, I think, at the neighbours, at 08:00 in the morning and is nonstop, hammering, drilling and sawing till about 16.30.

This is the last thing you want when you're on holidays, but when I asked what's going on, the person at reception suggested that I go talk to the construction workers myself if it bothered me. This was a really weird interaction.

The next day, same noise, driving us out of bed again. We did get some financial compensation, but they are building something next door, so this noise will be part of the weekday experience for some time, I presume, and you should inform your guest, in my opinion.

Beautiful views, nice room, friendly staff. Lovely village with good restaurants. Shame was we didn’t stay for long enough.

Stayed here last night...fair price for hotel with fantastic views. We were also very grateful for the silent air con. The breakfast...although expensive was very good.

We stayed for one night in August 2023. Our room was bright, modern, spotlessly clean and had everything we needed for a short stay, with a lovely view of the surrounding vineyards. The location is great and within walking distance of bars, restaurants and tasting rooms. Parking was directly across the road from the hotel and free. The pool area was really nice. The staff were all friendly and helpful. We thought the breakfast was a bit overpriced for what it was.

Great location, view is superb, swimming pool area needs attention, nice winebar. (No restaurant)

A short two night stay to explore the Sancerre wines. Great staff, clean rooms some with amazing views over the pool and local vinyards. Plenty of roadside parking.
Breakfast was good though no evening meals available. Nice relaxing bar before heading off into town for dinner.
