The Margi

I cannot stay enough about the staff. They were absolutely fabulous!!! An absolute steal compared to the four seasons. The location was good proximity from the beach and downtown.

Great location and fantastic service. As I was there for a conference I have no opinion about the rooms. The food also was amazing

I had a solo vacation in the margi. Everything was amazing during my stay including the facilities and the pool area. The staff was even very friendly and helpful when I had some problems to solve. Will return again for sure.

I cannot recommend this hotel enough. The pool area is simply dreamy. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The daily breakfast which is included in your stay is amazing. The fresh produce and eggs from their own farm is a really special touch. The Spa is INCREDIBLE. Top 3 spa experience of my life. Short walk to Astir Beach club which we really enjoyed. We will be back.

Beautiful property, the stuff is amazing! So friendly and accommodating. The spa was wonderful we had hour-long deep tissue massages. Stayed in room 230, the large sweet with huge outdoor patio. The patio is as large as the room. Had a wonderful wonderful experience ...would highly recommend!

The staff, service and food at this boutique hotel were all outstanding. The dining options for all meals were excellent and the staff was so attentive, friendly and always had a smile on their faces. We look forward to staying here in the future and highly recommend The Margi for anyone staying in the Athens/
Vouliagmeni area.

The rooms are small, even for an 'exec room' but it was well equipped and had everything we needed.
We had a room over looking the pool which we liked but is noisy in the evenings and in the morning when breakfast starts. It didn't bother until the hotel had events. There were 3 within our weeks stay. It noisey and they rum until 1am. On one occasion, they shut down the pool area at 5pm.
We were told this at 4.15pm one afternoon as we were relaxing by the pool - this is not ok to do to hotel guests.
The Margi is expensive and at a 5 star hotel you are not told you have to leave the pool area at 5pm!!
We headed to the spa after I complained at reception, which was lovely, and then went out for dinner. Upon our return to the hotel we went to the bar only to be told we couldn't have seats as it was a private event... we were hotel guests and its the only bar at the hotel!!

Overall great location, lovely hotel but some serious lacking in respect for hotel guests over private events.

It may be a controversial comment but there were a lot of children at the hotel which in June we didn't expect. Only frustrating when you want to swim and kids are playing games with balls etc... the pool 'rules' were not enforced.

We chose The Margi because it is a smaller boutique hotel - its a shame they do not treat their guests with 5 star service the price reflects.
