Collingwood Park Motel

Great booking . Easy and early arrival allowed. Close to lots of Collingwood. Very clean and great idea of dishwashing done by machine after you leave. Nice note to let you know about service. Good for clean dishes and sensible. More motels should do this.
Rubbish sorting bins. Right by water. Parking by unit and big area by sea to barbecue.
Lots of eating choices as well as a kitchen. Quiet .

Bed’s and pillow were comfy the only complaint is we could hear the person in the unit next door snoring and hear their conversation and TV. Not very good sound proofing between units. The place wasn’t full but they put us side by side.

Lovely motel. Friendly, helpful staff. Nice, clean room. Great location to visit Golden Bay/ Farewell spit.

very nice rooms, come with everything you need for a day. extremely clean too. very nice owner, who let us extend our check out time due to arriving late

Who could ask for more than waking up in the bay. Tui. Bellbirds singing morning noon and night. An amazing view.
My wife grew up in the bay so going home is lovely

Due to a delayed ferry trip, we didnt make it in the time we thought we would. The staff were helpful in making sure we could get into our room after reception hours.
The room was tidy, comfortable and had great kitchenette facilities. The milk in the fridge was especially awesome to find for a hot drink after a cold drive. Exceptional stay.

The room and location are great.

Just be aware for those traveling with children, they charge $35NZD per child extra. That was over 1/3 of the cost of our room and the reason given was because children are harder to clean up after. To me, that is way overpriced, especially since we make sure to clean up after our kids wherever we stay.
