Very Irish and very comfortable! If you’re looking for a chill spot this is your place! Didn’t have food so didn’t know how to rate it.

I had some ciders. It was my first time in an Irish pub, and the ciders were delicious! The atmosphere wasn't that great, but I'll still give it 4 stars as it was early and still very quiet.

McCoy's is a great little Irish Pub in the Hell's Kitchen area of Manhattan!
The bar staff were very friendly and attentive and very welcoming and the customers were also very friendly and welcoming!
They have a good selection of different american beers on tap however, when I visit an Irish Bar I am only going to order one thing and that is a pint of stout, ideally Guinness.
McCoys serve a delicious pint of Guinness and I can't imagine that any of the other beers that they serve would be any different!

Layout:
The bar was very clean and its laid out in the typical long and narrow style for city bars. Its what I was very much what I imagine when I think of a narrow US city bar.
If the bar is not too busy you can grab a stool and sit at the bar for a chat with friends and the bartender.
There isn't a lot of seating so if it is busy you might have to stand but its still a great bar!

Decor:
The bar is a simple bar in terms of decor. There are a few tvs in the bar and on the night that we were there they were playing a baseball game.
There was a number of football flags high above the bar for a number of teams.
There also was a large number of Jameson bottles dotted along the shelves behind the bar with people's names.

Overall Opinion:
McCoy's Bar is a great little bar in Hell's Kitchen, there is a relaxed atmosphere to this bar compaired to the hustle and bustle of other bars in New York City!
I recommend stopping by McCoy's Bar in New York for one of the best pints of Guinness that I have had in the city and have a good auld chat with friends!
