It was great! The quality of the exhibits is very impressive. The staff is very friendly and ready to answer any questions you may have. They have multiple languages throughout the museum. I found a couple of cool items in the gift shop to take home!

We had a tour, which was the best bit the giant man knew his stuff really sold it to us, moved to the interactive ride (be warned flashing lights) showing you the storyline of Harold the great.
As it was Christmas time, we finished in the gift shop and cafe where we tried our first Mead around the Christmas tree.

Used Public transport (tram) very easy to get to.
Clean toilets
Food and drink was lovely
Time used 3 hours.

This is an excellent museum. Well thought out exhibits all beautifully displayed. Staff members are dressed in period costume and the tour guide was top class.

The museum was really well thought and spaced out with plenty of displays. The guides and staff were incredibly knowledgeable and answered all of our questions. The included ride really surprised us - as we expected something perhaps aimed at a younger audience, but we thoroughly enjoyed it. Definitely a must visit.

What an awesome spot! This was so much fun to see the different exhibits, go on the included ride and the gift shop had an excellent selection of gifts and plunder for all kinds of different Vikings! The staff was friendly and committed to their parts making this a top then place to visit while in Stockholm.

Very informative museum with many artifacts on display. The people here are definitely on top of things since they are very friendly and they are very helpful. Overall I recommend this museum. If you don't like to read, just take the tour the lady giving the tour seemed very knowledgeable but if you want to do it on your own time, that's what I did, it's also a good idea. Both ways you will enjoy it.

Although this is a relatively small museum, it definitely repays an hour or two for anyone with an interest in the Vikings. While the upper floor, where you begin, has plenty of videos and interactive displays, most information is imparted by reading thoughtful, fairly lengthy ‘old school’ boards accompanying the objects and illustrations. I found this very refreshing, as they were well-written, making a good job of presenting the latest research and explaining the errors in the popular stereotypes, but it might not suit those who like everything to be touchscreens or flashy. Downstairs is a ride through an audiovisual presentation of a saga, which is very well done and engaging (although in the dark and noisy, maybe not suitable for very small children). We also had a very good lunch in the restaurant. Definitely worth a visit for fans interested in the Vikings, although perhaps best combined with a visit to the Viking exhibit at the Swedish Historical Museum to get a full picture.
