Middletown Recreation Department

My kids attend here for boxing class. It's free and takes them away from the video games.

On 6/18/22 I was driving by Watt's park on Watkins Ave and a baseball broke my window while the park was being utilized by the city. Middletown Parks and Recreation department should put a net up to protect the pedestrians of Middletown NY. This is unacceptable and will definitely be filling a dispute against them.

Parks and rec always has something to offer wether it be renting a pavillion a party for the kids, pre-k, knitting classes, sports, teen center etc. they do it and they are truly in it for the community ive always been treated with a kind a courteous manner from ever single person ive ever encountered here. Id recommend this place to anyone i know . The only downfall is i dont always find thier flyers and offerings publicly I just pick them up in the office.

I really like their boxing program. I recommend anyone to work with Paco.

Very friendly staff, excellent teen center for the youth and the boxing gym upstairs is amazing. Definitely a place for your kids if you're looking for after school activities.

They offer great programs, wish more people took advantage of them.
