My sister was in town with my nephew. We had already completed a bunch of exhibits a few days prior but wanted to do more with them. Everything seemed like it was 50/60 per person. A friend recommended I check Brooklyn Children’s museum out- for 15/pp it was fantastic. My nephew was able to keep going for hours doing crafts and projects. Highly recommend for an easy and cheap, educational experience.
Ok great place to bring kids for the museum but Do Not Go For Ice Skating!! It’s not ice and plastic it is impossible to skate on the plastic. You can’t push off your edge. A complete waste of time and money. We brought 4 families with us and we could not skate and the adults knew how to skate. We thought wow there’s no one here that’s great but no it’s because you can’t skate on it. The museum part is awesome but they should shut the roof down immediately. It’s a money trap.
Great for kids. Although it would be great if there was a exhibit of a bank for kids to see and a fire truck and simulation of how fires work and to put them out. Also a bubble exhibit, I believe that would enhance the experience

While visiting Brooklyn, I wanted to stop and give my daughter a chance to play (also the museum looked super cute to me). I looked it up, I think it's $15 per adult and $15 per kid over 1 I think. With my military ID, I was able to get in free!
They have an entire area for small children which I really loved and appreciated. There was water play, sand play, areas to act out a play (theater), areas to make music, a slide, and an area for smaller tots that had soft blocks. We stayed about an hour and my daughter really enjoyed herself!
We walked around the rest of the museum, there were things for my 1yr old to do too but there were bigger kids so we had to be mindful.

My 6 and 4 year old kids were in paradise . They loved the museum, we spent a good 5 hours, moving from activities to other rooms. The cafeteria closed early when we came and we were lucky to grab a snack on time. It is a good place to hang out with your kids.
Had such an amazing time here! So much to explore and play always kept clean and organized. I went on a Sunday at opening time it wasn’t crowded at all and everyone was very friendly. We spent about 2 hours there and went to the roof top to have some snacks. It was gorgeous and a nice place to take pics of your sweet child as they play.
We got there on the last day of August by 3pm and for my surprise I didn't need to pay anything. Then, a few days later, I realized that there is free entrance every Thursday from 2-5pm, indeed the same range of time we got there on that day of the week. Not to mention it was our very first time visiting and even though was a little bit overwhelming since the museum rooms were crowded we ended up enjoying and having a fun/cute time as mom and 11 years old kiddo. Also, he was super excited because my son had just arrived from San Juan, Puerto Rico 🇵🇷 a day before going into this place.
Incredible array of activities for children of all ages. The museum is extremely accessible in terms of its physical space, proximity to public transportation, and price. Thursday afternoons from 2-5 they have free admission — would recommend signing up on the site ahead of time though not required.
