Wine house Areni Cave in Areni, Armenia is a hidden gem off the beaten path, anyone visiting Noravank or Areni winery should come here and experience the best barbecue and fresh salads.
The Family who serve us was very hospitable- showed us how the barbecue was done and serves us local foods.
It was a very nice experience and we didn't have to wait as our toir guide have called them beforehand to prepare the foods.
Highly recommended for all tourists and local alike.

Der Hammer! Das wirklich beste gegrillte Hähnchen meines Lebens. Alles was auf den Tisch kommt, ist spitze. Der Wein ist toll. Sollte ich jemals wieder in Armenien sein, würde ich eigens für dies kleine Restaurant Areni besuchen.

The best BBQ in all of Armenia. I have eaten BBQ all over and visited Armenia 6 times. This gem is off the beaten path but anyone visiting Noravank or Areni should come here.
