Red Hot Cod

Best fish and chips I’ve had in a very long while! I had the cod which Crispy batter and soft inside. What more could u ask for! 🔥

My partner and I used to come here all the time years ago. I'm guessing it has changed hands since. Got charged $80 for fish and chips, a kids meal, burger and drinks. And nothing tasted that great. They no longer do beer battered chips, the burger fell apart as it was oily and covered in sauce. Really sad to see one of our favorite fish and chip places from the past go that far down hill.

Best fish & chips I ever had, 6 different fish to choose from. I chose snapper fish, it was very fresh and sweet! Not too many tables, you need to come early if you want to dine in.

By far one of the best fish and chips I’ve had. Nice atmosphere and friendly staff. Menu with lots of options to choose from. They have a lunch menu for $5 for a medium portion of fish and chips. It was delicious. Highly recommended.

I went here at lunchtime.
There was already a long queue.
Waited for 20 min and I was served a lunch special which was $5 fish and chips.
It was a good match with beer!

Craving fish and chips and Red Hot Cod delivered! Well fried, both battered and crumbed, had a nice salad as part of pack and seafood tasted fresh and flakey👍 Would recommend!

I've seen all the positive feedback, but for me just didn't hit the mark.

Maybe it's what I ordered, (crumbed whiting, chips and potato scallops) but didn't sit well in the stomach and after nibbling a quarter I didn't have the rest.

Scallops were greasy and one was so hard couldn't chew through it, with chips kind of starchy and raw in the centre.

The lemon didn't go the distance so would order more if your getting fish, or byo. Sauce serving quite generous. Staff were nice. Monday 27 Feb.
