Guys just wanna take the time and leave a positive review. I come to the Goldie from Sydney every year to get away from running my own business . The food is great and yes the staff maybe young but give 150% especially when there is Que of people out the door..
I honestly can't believe some things people write ....

The food is terrible sadly. We have been here 3 times and all fish have had a bone in them. The chips weren't good enough. For 2 adults and 1 child (aged4) we paid about $90 worth of Fish chips, sauce, gravy, potato scallops, Calamari a few extra. It's so sad. This place USE TO BE good now its not.. sorry. I will not be back again.
The girl that took our order, I understand we had to repeat it nearly 3 or 4 times but it's not that hard. And yet she couldn't smile. I personally don't like places who don't have a fun attitude. It's terrible, miserable and sad place to get things. Unfortunately.

Superb calamari and battered hoki fish! They give you two slices of lemon rather than one! What else do you want? Extremely underrated fish and chips shop on the Coast. If I can have my say, this place would be packed!

Food was ok, not super fresh but was prepared reasonably quickly. The first girl behind the counter who served me was friendly and provided good service. I had calamari and chips and the calamari was coated in something that was already flavoured and I didn’t find it pleasant to eat unfortunately and took away from the calamari. Spent about $60 dollars all up. As I was leaving I asked for the toilet key and was told that I had to leave something behind and as all I had on me was my phone I wasn’t giving them my phone. Definitely wouldn’t return given how mediocre the food was and then how rude the service was when I asked for a toilet key.

Food was good but they left our prawns off order. Went next day to advised them they gave us no prawns; we were told bad luck because we haven’t rang last night (we are not from this area so didn’t remember the name of their shop last night). For $6 and as a small business owner myself; I would had refund this no questions.
