We went to see the Riverdale mansion, which is quite impressive from the outside. Unfortunately, the mansion itself is still closed due to Covid-19. The grounds are very nice, however, with benches for a picnic and plenty of space for a blanket. The garden had an impressive display of tulips with a number of varieties I had never seen.

What more could one ask for in a 200 year old mansion and the splendor that is the property which surrounds it? With each season there is something new to appreciate.

A pleasant park with a charming tour of a structure deeply embedded into Maryland History. Definitely check it out.
Excellent venue. We've been attending summer concerts in the park here for the last few months, every other wednesday.

It's a lovely historic mansion full of period furniture and lovely art. The grounds have a spectacular garden as well.
