An above average restaurant in the city of Cologne. Especially since it is Lebanese instead of the "typical" Italian/Turkisch/Chinese Restaurants that are predominant in the area.
The food was mostly good and the amount sufficient. Minor inconveniences (did not like the coffee, flatbread seemed buyed instead of self made) do not change the fact that it was a good experience.
Attention: They do not accept cards! You can make a bank transfer or use other forms of digital payment though.
Overall recommondation.

What a find. The food is excellent and it's very low key. All male staff and they are attentive. It's like a beehive if activity with the cooks, waiters and busboys all buzzing around narrow passages between customers and tables. They really pack them in. Don't expect white table cloths and a quiet setting. It's more like street markets in Beirut than a fancy restaraunt. We liked it and will be back. Beware it is cash only.

I have visited this restaurant few year ago for the first time and since then - the food is delicious, the service friendly. No matter how busy they are the food arrives quickly.
Unfortunately they do not have declared dishes that are gluten free but the waiters are happy to consult you on the options.
Even though it is in the center, this place is far away from a touristic trap - but it is in my opinion rather hidden gem of Cologne. 💎
You can easily converse in English.
If you are with few friends I recommend you take several appetizers and few main dishes and share - believe me - you will want to have a try of everything ;)

This place was pumping. Very popular and even though we had a reservation we had to wait 20min.
Service was fast and friendly. Everything was delicious and made just like a traditional Arabic cuisine.
They sort of understood gluten free. For some dishes they let you know if it was ok or not but then when they served the mixed grill it was on flat bread and had the toasted flat bread with a topping sitting on top of all the meat.
Thankfully it isn’t a crumbly bread and I could eat it and see there wasn’t any bread on the meat.

This place has an amazing vibe, which will make you forget that you are in Germany and take you to Labenon. The food was tasty, especially the mixed grill and meat balls. The best thing about Lamb meat was that it was cooked properly and it didn't have that smell. Loved their serving quantity, too. I'm definitely visiting again.
