After reading a lot of positive reviews i went there, being one of the oldest restaurants in camp people say its iconic and now i know why.
I tried there famous irani chai, bun maska, masala omlette, chicken samosa, shikanji, chiken kheema, khari, mawa cake.
All the items were tasty and very affordable considering that its located in camp area, where restaurants are high on your pocket and lack the taste for it.
This has become my go to restaurant for irani chai and bun muska. I loved their chicken kheema better and affordable than diamond cafe.
They have also have south indian dishes, idli wada sambhar was nice, but the sambhar was on the sweeter side. Hotel priya which is nearby is comparatively better for South indian delicacies.

Kohinoor Restaurant is an iconic and well-known establishment in Pune, famous for its longevity and popularity. As expected, it's always bustling with people due to its reputation. The signature items here are the bun maska and tea, which many rave about.

During my visit, I tried a variety of dishes, including a cake, bun maska with tea, and anda bhurji. While the food was decent and had a good taste, it didn't quite live up to the hype. In my opinion, the restaurant is somewhat overrated. The taste is good, but it's not extraordinary.

One thing to note is that there might be a parking issue, and you might need to share a table with strangers or wait for a while. All in all, Kohinoor Restaurant is worth a visit to experience its history, but don't expect the taste to be out of this world.

Old Gem of Camp Pune.... Decent place for having Chai Bun maska.... Tea was really tasty but bun was little rubbery... Ambience is not so pleasant and cleanliness is also not good. It is always crowded. You can visit if you like old places.

Went for breakfast in the morning; toast and buns with butter and tea were the ideal breakfast fare. The service was prompt and top-notch.
