Awesome place too work

I NEVER GOT THE HELP I NEEDED HERE!!!! This placement was one of the worst I've been to. There is a staff who was really inappropriate to the underage youth. We would voice our concerns to the director of the program and she would tell us we would get into trouble if we kept "complaining" about him. I watched my peer get slammed and hit by a staff member and resulted with a black eye. I witnessed another peer suffer from back to back seizures without the proper medical help. She had even voiced her medical needs and they were being looked over. I've wanted to hurt myself each day because the lack of mental help. This place was horrible the way they kept us around a preditor who is now a case manager.

Staff needs to be more transparent more up front when I ask questions nobody knows answers

AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE! Horrible staff. Total favoritism there. If they want someone fired, they will find a way to do it. They'll accuse people of little stuff that no one else be accused of, or blamed for stuff that wasn't even that person's fault. Morale is horrible there. DO NOT WORK FOR THEM! Don't let the pay/benefits fool you. There is a reason they can't keep anyone, especially on the afternoon shift.

It was great compared to yrtc-k and other treatment centers, the food is okay, residents get there own room. It is a very health environment, the staff are very focused on the residents recovery. My only compliant is i wish the mandatory groups were more interactive and fun.
