Had the scallop risotto before and this time had the beef bourguignon. Really enjoyed the food. Very reasonable prices. Happy to support local businesses!

Great French bistro! We really enjoyed the food and server was very friendly.
Food was very good and casual dining experience was great.
Will go back for other items on the menu.

Decent cooked to order lunch spot on Baldwin St. in downtown Toronto.

Ordered the Mediterranean Pizza, the dough was average, but the ingredients and pizza sauce was fresh. Seafood Risotto is a large portion for lunch.

Jennifer was our server for lunch, she treated us well.

Decor yields an authentic feel with a mixture of paintings on the wall.

BEST EGGS BENNY I’VE HAD IN TORONTO!!! We had brunch at this spot today. It’s a charming small French restaurant that blew our minds with their food quality. I manage a restaurant myself and have been in the service industry for a long time. 10 out of 10 experience. The food portions are MASSIVE and use high quality ingredients. The hollandaise sauce for the eggs benny is made in house and tastes exquisite. The eggs are cooked perfectly and they do not skimp on the peameal bacon! Great job Caffe Le Gaffe!!!

It's a nice little restaurant on Baldwin Street. It's not a fancy place, but it has a great value.
Good and quick service.
Spicy PEI mussels can be cooked in no spicy way as per customer's request, and the dish is very good.
The grilled salmon is a simple dish that requires a lot of mastery to overcome all the competition. The chef at Cafe Le Gaffe does that. The balsamic vinegar glaze really add interesting notes to the taste. Although, veggies on the side were exactly the same as for the steak. But you cannot anticipate different side dishes at such price range, thus, I'm OK with that.
The steak was good as well as deserts - we had a Creme Brulee and a lemon cheesecake with refreshingly sour raspberry jam.
I would highly recommend this place, especially for their grilled salmon and mussels

Had the chance to go here for a dinner on a Friday night. We ordered two glasses of wine and the appetizers to start. I was disappointed that the escargot was served in a squared dish. But the bread was good! I was hoping for a different plating with the escargot.

The beef bourguignon was good and the pasta was fine.

It has very good business on Sunday morning, although it was very cold in the weekend, there’s still people waiting outside the restaurant for the seating. I had its very well known French Onion Soup and Cappuccino but would come try its brunch some other time. Its weekend brunch looks delicious and seems at reasonable price with good size. The soup is well served in display but I have taken 1 star off as the table at where I sat missed the set of salt as well as pepper, which other tables have.
