My overall rating is more like a 3.8. Stayed 1 night for a quick local get-away in the Urban Premium King room. Other than the view, I think the room was a bit overpriced for what it was but overall nice. The soaking tub was great, my husband and I were in love with the robes (first time I ever contemplated stealing from a hotel), and the linens were also super comfortable. There were 2 things I was not a fan of. One was after booking, the confirmation email was like surprise, your reservation includes an obligatory donation of either 2 jars of peanut butter or $10. I'm all for donating to charity, food banks, etc but being forced into it by a hotel that I'm sure has pretty wealthy owners was a bit funny to me.
The other thing was there was only tap water in the room, no mini bar or bottles of water or anything. Around 10:30pm my husband called down to see if we could get some bottled water, and were told they were out but we were welcome to walk about a block away to a convenience store to get some. Now we are usually bottom shelf type of people. Generally when traveling we stay in cheap motels, and our basic requirement is it hopefully doesn't have bed bugs. To that end, staying in a nicer more expensive hotel is a treat and all about the experience of living life on the other side of things. Even a cheap motel would have a vending machine in the hallway where we could get a bottle of water without having to leave the comfort of the hotel and go walking outside at night. Living in Seattle, we know what it's like downtown at night, so I wasn't too keen with the whole, "Sure you paid $300 for one night, but we can't offer you drinking water, go get it yourself".
Other than that the overall experience was fine, the room was quiet. Would I stay there again? Not likely. We had previously stayed at The Fairmont Olympic Hotel which was nicer, less expensive, and had better service.

Originally booked cause it was reasonably priced, however, never told about the huge hold for incidentals $75 per night! Was told the hotel Cafe was open until 130pm, it actually closed at 12. Hotel would do nothing about the hold for incidentals, Not happy and this hotel is ok but nothing to rave about. Stayed in better places in the north east, where I am from. Beware, extra hidden holds that they never tell you about even when asked ahead of time! Their answer was "every hotel in Seattle does it and some charge 100 a night! Thank God there isn't a pool or there would be a tourism charge too! Obviously this is my first time staying in Seattle and will probably be my last!

My 3rd time staying here. This time it was in the metropolitan suite...Loved it. Great and friendly staff. Rooms are always comfortable and clean. Can't really ask for more...but when you do ask for more they are happy to oblige. My fiance had called down to the front desk at around 9pm asking if they can microwave some popcorn for her (that she of course would provide and it also worth noting there was no microwave in the room) and without hesitation they said yes. Really appreciative of the staff for going the extra mile

I used to really like staying here and I traditionally love leaving great reviews, but this isn't one of them... location great, housekeeping is stellar!!! But the front desk staff, aside of management, were a mess. No one seemed to care whatsoever and looked a mess. One young man had an old sweatshirt on and not well groomed at all. What's the point of staying in a nice place when staff clearly offer low expectations. I've never been so happy to check out and went to a different hotel. It was a fantastic experience and I wish I stayed there the entire trip!!!

This awesome hotel is within one block of the historic Paramount Theatre, which is where we went for a concert, so we figured this would be the perfect place to stay, and it was!
If you are looking for a classic Seattle hotel, which is rich in history and style, you want to stay here. The location is perfect. Wherever you want to go, there's a good chance you can walk there within minutes.
The rates are great, plus you can purchase parking with your room and save, plus it's valet parking and who doesn't like that?
From the moment you enter into the lobby, you will not only be surrounded by local art, but also historic decor mixed with a cozy modern style, and a warm greeting from the front desk area. You are treated really well here. Every employee we dealt with from check in to check out was kind and accommodating.
There are 2 places to eat inside the hotel. The first is Spruce Expresso Bar, and the second is Chan, which serves Korean dishes. Make sure to visit both!
Here is a fun fact that I feel is worthy to mention: The Paramount Hotel is rated among the top 5 hotels in downtown Seattle. So if you are coming to Seattle anytime soon, I would recommend this hotel. 👍🏼

This hotel is a little gem. It's so quaint and lovely. The location is great. We easily walked from the train we took from the airport for 3 dollars!
The staff is kind and attentive. The bar/ cafe is nice. We walked to the water front easily, and Uber swept us up a few times to take us further out.
The rooms are cozy, but not small, immaculately clean, and they have everything you could need. The room is nice and quiet and the temperature was very comfortable and not noisy. The bed was so comfortable, and the pillows were amazing. The staff was helpful and attentive and very kind. I will stay here whenever we return. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

I stayed at this hotel for Amazon Accelerate, and the proximity to the convention center was a huge plus. The hotels proximity to nearly everything allowed me to walk to any destination I wanted to in relatively no time saving me money with ride shares. This also allowed me to avoid dealing with traffic in downtown Seattle, which for anyone not familiar can be a bit rough.
The rooms were well kept and the amenities were all up to date and modern. The bed was very comfortable and I slept very well during my stay.
The staff was extremely friendly, and allowed me to check in 4 hours ahead of time preventing me from waiting around at the airport till they were ready. Additionally, after I checked out they were friendly enough to hold my bags for me for 6 hours until it was time to go to the airport. I highly reccomend this hotel, and if I stay in Seattle again, this will be my preferred choice.

Great location, rooms were nice and clean. We came to watch a baseball game and ended up staying the night. The bathroom was a bit small, but was not a deal breaker ( first world problem).
Staff was very friendly, they upgraded us to a better room without asking so that was nice. We left to another hotel the next day that had a pool, but should have stayed here instead.
Highly recommended :)
