The Feeder Canal Alliance Inc has always been the best program. Especially protecting and preserving the Canal and the wildlife. Plus the Trail. Of course the Feeder Canal Trail is definitely part of the Empire State Trail System. Since Feeder Canal leads to the Champlain Canal. The Five Combines is included.
Amazing trail especially during Fall.. Very less crowed.. Both good for bike and walk with canal on one side and the Hudson river on the other
