A very good small auditorium for the recent Phoenix Chamber Ensemble concert (19th Century Piano Trios: On the Cusp of Romanticism). Excellent sound!

We came upon this building accidentally while walking down the street. They had 2 great exhibits. It is primarily a research center. One exhibit was on the history of Russ and Daughters and the others on Jews and Cannibis.

Incredible experience! So many interesting artifacts and storiesxabout jewish lives. And the saggestvtime in jewish history Holocost. More facts about horrible things Nazis did to jewish people in concentration camps. The history of the creation of concentration camps. And amazing photographs of the survivors of concentration camps that lived in United States. Unfortunately very few of them are living now. But the biggest point of those horrible times is never forget and dont let it happen again!

The center for Jewish History, part of Yeshiva University and several other foundations, is a hidden gem near Union Square. The powerful exhibits highlight the powerful presence of Jewish culture in history and in the city.

I highly recommend a visit here. You will be impacted by the exhibits that are being displayed.

There are also two special spaces; the first deals with Jewish family ancestry; the second is a wonderful archive of Jewish material, from history to science to literature.

Wonderful history of New York jewish life. The desk guide, Max, was informative and knowledgable about the art work.

About two years ago we discovered the Center for Jewish History which is a remarkable exhibition space, a great place to see movies as well as hear scintillating discussions on fascinating topics. A few months ago we saw the RBG documentary and then listened to the director and writers describe the making of the movie. More recently we listened to Pete Hamill and Clyde Haberman discuss stories of growing up in New York and the future of the free press while it is under attack. We have gone to exhibitions on the Arch of Titus and have found that every experience we have had at the Center for Jewish History has been an intellectually eye opening experience.
