Great place that helps feed the animals in Davidson County. I’ve been told they also work with the pound to get animals adopted instead of having them euthanized. Thank you for you’re selfless act of kindness and thank you to the many volunteers who love animals.

I haven't shipped, but I came to make some donations and the facility was very clean and well organized. I would have no hesitations to adopt from here!! Happy to help support them.

Wonderful place to adopt a new family member. We are very pleased with our beautiful pooches.

This has been the second time I have went to adopt a dog from there. I had put an application in and got a call back. They told me I was the first person that had put an application in for this dog and they would call me back when she was ready to be adopted. I have been calling leaving messages and everything for the last 3 weeks. I then got online to see the dog has been taking off so I was considered. I go up there today for them to tell me she has been adopted 2 weeks ago. I also went last week in person and they had told she still wasn’t ready yet. Which was a lie she was already adopted. This is now the second time this has happened to me. I will never go here again to look for a dog or cat I was so upset about this. I had already bought everything for this dog but yet again the communication from this place is horrible. I will say I hope she went to a wonderfully home and it’s not the other peoples fault. The staff need to communicate with each other and do their jobs better. I hope this doesn’t happen to anyone else.

Have adopted many wonderful pets from here over the years. Also, a great rescue shelter in most cases. ❤️ So blessed they are still here.

amazing shelter, got my pit mix from them and hes the best friend i could ask for. did a dna test on him and he’s mostly pitbull and husky, mixed with german shepherd and boxer. he’s huge now, when i got him he was about 6 pounds now he’s around 53-55. his name was screech and the shelter and is now known as casper. his favorite place to go is spirit halloween.

We just adopted our first family puppy from this place and we are very grateful for them. Everyone that works there was so happy and kind and helped us with everything so well. This location is super nice and very clean inside and out, we would definitely recommend them to anyone looking to adopt or rescue a new pet. They also kept us very informed of all the background and medical info on the puppy and the process went very quick and smoothly. Thank you so much again HMA♡
