Wow I’ve never had a waiter be this rude to me! I’m still in shock. The restaurant when you walk in is nice, good atmosphere and I was seated quickly by a nice man. I have my meal, the white bread wasn’t that good but it’s ok and my glass of white wine is not the best but I don’t mind because the seafood spaghetti was nice. I’m enjoying myself. I then ask for the check and a waiter brings me the wrong check which is fine. He then corrects the prices and says water is like around 4 euros so I express my surprise because it looks like a carafe of tap water and say i thought it would be free. I wasn’t rude I was just surprised. Then he starts speaking Loudly saying where did you read that, you need to see better, points at the menu and is getting mad, I say I’m not mad just surprised, please let me pay. He says tip isn’t included to which I respond okay, he says I can put 10% to which I say yes even though he obviously doesn’t deserve it and then gets mad and says “you don’t tip” but I ended up paying 26 euros so I think he did put in a tip? Any ways bad experience, not okay at all to talk to a patron this way.

I haven't been here in a while but on revisiting I realize that was a mistake. For starters you get served a free helping of bread and aioli. The fish platter on the lunch menu was very tasty and dinner overall a fine experience.

I ordered a mixed seafood plate, oysters and white sangria. The food, vibe and service was nice. If you want to eat fresh seafood in Hamburg then you must visit this place 🌱

Slow food, truly Portuguese! Make sure you are not in a rush: antipasti and main course can take more than 2 hours to serve and eat. However, the food is worth it! Huge portions of very fresh and delicious sea food. Very aesthetically served as well.

I don't leave a review in general however this place absolutely needs a review for other visitors. I was there with my family and got disappointed. The worst experience in Germany. Had 4 sea food platters worth 137euro all together. The amount was small, all taste salty and sea foods are not fresh in my opinion. I paid 150 euro and waitress took it and didn't give me changes back. I actually didn't want to give a tip though. Not good service either. Please think again before you come here.

It was okay - I wouldn't say it was amazing but it was fine. I think that the location of this restaurant outranks the quality of the food. It was nice but not consistently the most fresh. The bread was stale. It's a nice restaurant but I think there would be more traditional places in Portuguese Quarter.

Location was clean and service good, has a nice atmosphere, even at lunch time.

Had a lovely evening here with super nice food! The beef and asparagus were so nice I ordered it twice! Our waiter was super friendly and recommended us some lovely wines that went well with the food. The ambience upstairs was warm which I liked. Would definitely go back when I'm in London again!
