Hat anscheinend dauerhaft geschlossen. Standen an einem Samstag Abend vor verschlossenen Türen. Keine Info, nirgends. Das Telefon hat man schon ausgesteckt. Auch wenn’s schade ist dass man schließen muss, könnte man es dennoch seinen Gästen wissen lassen
A nice restaurant located next to the Hamburg City Hall. You can sit down without waiting too long in line. Friendly and warm staff welcomes you. You don't have to wait long to order. I can say that I found the taste sufficient.
Ich habe heute und auch schon öfter über Liegerando dort bestellt! Bin immer sehr zufrieden gewesen. Sehr warm geliefert und auch qualitativ Super! Pünktliche Lieferung! Und gerade heute, wo überall Service großgeschrieben wird, eher selten! Gibt Nix zu merken! Danke
Wow I’ve never had a waiter be this rude to me! I’m still in shock. The restaurant when you walk in is nice, good atmosphere and I was seated quickly by a nice man. I have my meal, the white bread wasn’t that good but it’s ok and my glass of white wine is not the best but I don’t mind because the seafood spaghetti was nice. I’m enjoying myself. I then ask for the check and a waiter brings me the wrong check which is fine. He then corrects the prices and says water is like around 4 euros so I express my surprise because it looks like a carafe of tap water and say i thought it would be free. I wasn’t rude I was just surprised. Then he starts speaking Loudly saying where did you read that, you need to see better, points at the menu and is getting mad, I say I’m not mad just surprised, please let me pay. He says tip isn’t included to which I respond okay, he says I can put 10% to which I say yes even though he obviously doesn’t deserve it and then gets mad and says “you don’t tip” but I ended up paying 26 euros so I think he did put in a tip? Any ways bad experience, not okay at all to talk to a patron this way.
Heute waren wir dort essen und ich muss in fünf Sterne geben. Das Essen war top Service war top. Wir waren sehr zufrieden und das war Mega lecker. Das kann ich nur jeden empfehlen dort mal essen zu gehen.

Hat uns gefallen. Kurztrip in Hamburg. Spontan für ein Restaurant in der Nähe entschieden. Essen sah toll aus und hat geschmeckt. Rotbarschfilet mit Kartoffeln, Dillsauce und Gurkensalat.
Viele Gerichte auf der Speisekarte fand ich sehr ansprechend. Service ist nett, der Koch macht seine Arbeit. Das Wetter meinte es gut mit uns, somit konnten wir draußen sitzen.

Der Geschäftsinhaber hat mir nach der Öffnungszeit eine Nudelbox noch gemacht. Schmeckte sehr gut und war sehr nett!

Very good place and good value for money. I read in the comments that the place is quite overrated. I completely disagree. For 11€ you can get a fish and chips, with delicious soft cod and crispy tasty fries. The fries are definitely to try with their delicious sauce. Service is super fast and there is plenty of space to sit. Also very convenient spot just in front of the Rathaus! I would definitely recommend if you are spending a few days in Hamburg and want to try some fish and chips
Taste is below average. Even the rice is poor quality. Quantity is less, service is bad, price his high, long waiting time. If you ask for a child seat-just go and get yourself, won’t expect them to bring for you. The eating bowl is ridiculously small. I am really wondering how the restaurant survived this long.
Ur-Hamburgerisch, freundliches Pwrsonal, heimeliges Ambiente drinnen, draußen ein toller Biergarten. Das Essen: mit Sicherheit unter den Top 5 in HH, wenn es um traditionelle, rustikale Küche geht. Mit dem Spezialbier Hoevels, ein süffiges Rotblondes erlebt der gewogene Gast einen sympathischen Mix aus großartiger Qualität, angenehm entspannter Atmosphäre und fantastischem Essen. Würde sicherheitshalber einen Tag spätestens reservieren. Wenn HH, dann das Brodersen.
Wonderful place, in a great location by the university and with the best food we had in Hamburg - and reasonably priced at that. The seating is both inside and outside, in a small cozy courtyard shielded from the street by a thick hedge. The food is traditional German and very well made, with quite large portions. Special mention to the excellent Schnitzel. The service is friendly and attentive. Word of warning: the kitchen closed at 9pm when we were there, so be sure not to wait too long to order desserts!

I went there based on reviews. I found the place quite overrated. I had the Matjesbroetchen, and for good measures I also had the fish and chips. The Matjesbroetchen was alright but sure you can do better for less in something a little more honest just off the beaten track. The fish and chips was terrible. The fish was overcooked, dry and the batter had no crunch. The staff looked uninterested and wasn't particular friendly. Simply put, there was nothing original about this place. But if you just look to tick a box, it will do...
I ordered sushi and it tasted… Not good. Not sure if anything was expired, but I’m feeling weird. It all had such a weird after-taste and a sweetness to it that just didn’t fit. The next hours will show.

Habe mich sehr unwohl gefühlt. Zunächst ist der „große Teller“ beim Buffet doch recht klein, gerade für den Preis. Ich wurde streng von der Dame vom Service beim Auftun beobachtet, dabei hatte sie stets einen grimmigen Blick. Böse Zungen würden behauptet, dass man gezielt versucht hat, dem Gast ein negatives Gefühl zu vermitteln und dafür zu sorgen, dass nur wenig von dem vollkommen durchschnittlichem Essen auf dem Teller landet. Das Ambiente ist ebenfalls grauenvoll, generell hatte ich auch das Gefühl, dass man Gäste nicht wie Gäste, sondern wie ungebetene Besucher in den eigenen Vier-Wänden behandelt hat, welche man sehr schnell wieder loswerden will und nur möglichst viel Profit an ihnen schlagen will. Kann im Großen und Ganzen vehement von einem Besuch abtaten.
Kleiner Thai Imbiss unter der S-Bahn Brücke in Hammerbrook, die machen richtig guten Mittagstisch! Es ist allerdings auch sehr voll, am besten man nimmt sich das Essen mit.

I ordered the truffle pasta - one of the best I’ve had in Hamburg. Ingredients were noticeably fresh, except maybe the pasta, but still was absolutely delicious. We also had a glass of the open rose. Light and tasty. Bread and herb spread that comes with the table was delectable. Staff was kind and accommodating. Halibut portion was small- don’t recommend sharing unless you have a small appetite or are saving room for dessert. We loved sitting outside and enjoying Mühlenkamp. I recommend if you don’t mind spending a bit— or just come during lunch!
Taste was fine, nothing special just well cooked fish. Small Plate which was half empty with little to no decoration, Not even bread was offered.

Good place for fish eaters . The portions are big , good value of money . If you like to experiment Hamburger fish styles and cookings , it is the place .
I was going to rate it 4 stars, because 1) the steal was rather toght 2) one of portions of potato was oversalted 3) the waiter was rushing us when we were ordering because "we are full inside" (well you have at least dozen of free table outside still empty, shouldn't you have enough staff for everyone?) But overall it was good (not great, but good) and I though 4 stars is fare. But as I was paying by card the weigter added 10% tip without asking 😳 I got it back when I asked (you shouldn't be rude to get a tip), but still, how is it ok to just silencly add it? Definitely not acceptable

I haven't been here in a while but on revisiting I realize that was a mistake. For starters you get served a free helping of bread and aioli. The fish platter on the lunch menu was very tasty and dinner overall a fine experience.
I ordered a mixed seafood plate, oysters and white sangria. The food, vibe and service was nice. If you want to eat fresh seafood in Hamburg then you must visit this place 🌱
Slow food, truly Portuguese! Make sure you are not in a rush: antipasti and main course can take more than 2 hours to serve and eat. However, the food is worth it! Huge portions of very fresh and delicious sea food. Very aesthetically served as well.

So sad to give a bad review as the google reviews here looked super promising, however, my husband and I went here to dinner and it really was a huge miss. We first ordered the number 20, pork with noodles but it ended up being nothing like the description and had 0 taste with chewy pork and just super oily. I then ordered the fried chicken and vegetables but that also had no taste and just pure spice in the sauce. Im all for unique and culturally different food but this was just bad. It was also hard as the restaurant people didn’t speak any English, since we’re Swedish and not German, we then couldn’t let them know the food was no good and why we didn’t touch it. We ended up paying for it all and just leaving. So disappointing. For authentic Chinese food this a bad experience.
I don't leave a review in general however this place absolutely needs a review for other visitors. I was there with my family and got disappointed. The worst experience in Germany. Had 4 sea food platters worth 137euro all together. The amount was small, all taste salty and sea foods are not fresh in my opinion. I paid 150 euro and waitress took it and didn't give me changes back. I actually didn't want to give a tip though. Not good service either. Please think again before you come here.

Wir kennen den Laden schon lange, endlich jetzt auch mit Liefer Service! Das Essen kam schnell und heiß und richtig lecker! Ich hatte die Pekingsuppe und Rindfleisch mit 8 Kostbarkeiten. Wir bestellen sicher wieder!
It was okay - I wouldn't say it was amazing but it was fine. I think that the location of this restaurant outranks the quality of the food. It was nice but not consistently the most fresh. The bread was stale. It's a nice restaurant but I think there would be more traditional places in Portuguese Quarter.

Haben zum ersten Mal dort was ausser Haus bestellt und wurden angenehmen überrascht. Nach ca 30 Minuten wurde geliefert alles war noch sehr heiß. Die Suppen waren sehr schmackhaft,das Hauptgericht auch. Nicht war alt wie in manchen Rezensionen Allesschneider lecker.werden wieder bestellen. Sehr empfehlenswert weiter so!!!

Ich hatte " Deftiges Gulasch vom Holsteiner Rind " meine Frau hatte das Putensteak . Und es war beides Wirklich sehr lecker und mehr als Ausreichend.

Habe dort bestellt und das falsche bekommen. Habe dann dort angerufen um mir anzuhören das ich das bestellt habe. Auf meiner Rechnung steht aber was anderes… wurde nur gesagt Pech

3.5 stars because the food was very delicious but there was a lot of plastic cutlery and straws and you know, our planet is in fact dying. In addition, the atmosphere was not very cozy
Ich bin schockiert, erstmal hat die Lieferung fast 2 Stunden gedauert und dann hatte ich ein Stück Plastik und ein anderes undefinierbares Stück in meiner gebackenen Annanas… möchte nicht wissen unter was für Zuständen das Essen dort zubereitet wird ist ja eine reinste Katastrophe!!!
Schöner Laden am Rothenbaum. Schon mehrere Jahre dort gut gegessen. Schönes Ambiente im Biergarten vor dem Haus, bieder hanseatisch innen. Leckerer Fisch und Weltklasse Bratkartoffeln. Sehr netter Service. Kann man gerne öfters hingehen.
I have read many good reviews about the restaurant but i didn't expect it was that good. I ordered mix platter consists of seelach, salmon and gambas. All of the ingredients were almost perfectly cooked (one of the gamba a little bit undercooked and the salmon a few second over) and seasoned. The taste complexity of the platter was also good enough. I could feel the balance between the side dishes and the fishes. The bread was phenomenal. I never tasted any better bread. I will definitely come back.

I vomited there and tried to go health ministry but could not. However, I just say, please do not go there. non-hygienic, poor service. poor hospitality. yuck restaurant..............

I have been going to this place for a Year .My Favorite is the Sushi .It’s all about the Rice and Fish.Always fresh and spot on.Also the KokosSuppe ,OMG Delicious Perfect when I have no interest in Cooking 👍👏👏👏

The food was very tasty, we specially loved the dessert and the octopus , which was perfectly cooked. The service was simply amazing, the most friendly waitress ever. I am only giving it 4 starts because I think their dishes lack a bit of creativity. For the price, I found the dishes too simple.
Worst Pad Thai I ever had in my life. It’s like they used expired food and mixed them together with a disgusting sauce. Last time I order from there! What a waste of money. I totally don’t understand the good ratings, this must be spam.
Went here for a set menu, all the dishes had unusual ingredient pairings but they worked surprisingly well. Seafood was fresh, staff attentive, and the ambiance was inviting although crowded and limited in space.
No dine-in option, but the prices are affordable and the freshly cooked fried chicken with chow mein is never bad

I like small businesses, it looks okey and the food is good, the owner is friendly. everything is always fresh.i order the mix dish with noodles for take out and it costs like 8€ and it comes with a super full box more than what you can eat probably.

Had a lovely evening here with super nice food! The beef and asparagus were so nice I ordered it twice! Our waiter was super friendly and recommended us some lovely wines that went well with the food. The ambience upstairs was warm which I liked. Would definitely go back when I'm in London again!

Musste mit dem Zug nach Hamburg für das China Visum . Auf dem Rückweg vom Konsulat habe ich mir eine Box zum Mitnehmen geholt.. Man steht gerne Schlange , wenn man Hunger hat . So richtig zum Hinsetzen gab es allerdings nichts . Ein übliches Restaurant ist es auch nicht . Nur anstehen und schnell mitnehmen . Essen war gut . Halt asiatisch .

Chanced upon this restaurant via google review and came with group of 8 for dinner. Was really happy with the services and food. Excellent and authentic, well roasted duck! Portion for noodles and rice was big! Love the “suan Lai”/ sour and spicy soup!

The food and the display of food were so amazing! I wasn’t expecting it since it was my first restaurant in Hamburg. The staff were also so nice. Loved all our dishes and especially the pumpkin pie/cream brûlée.
The restaurant has great outdoor area to sit on a sunny day. The trees however shred a lot of leaves, so if you don't like organic leaves in your soup, get inside. The waitress was really friendly and helpful. We were there for lunch and food came really quickly. If I'm not wrong, you get to choose a free soup/side dish for every lunch option.

Da momentan unsere Baustelle um die Ecke ist, gehe ich dort jeden Tag hin und kaufe mir eine Peking Suppe für 2.50€...nicht, weil ich Hunger habe, sondern...weil die sehr gut schmeckt.
Natürlich sind dort noch mehr Leckereien, die ich jedoch nicht schaffe, weil ich noch meine Brote essen muss, sonst gibt es zu Hause Ärger...😄

We love exploring restaurants and this place serves yummy Chinese food. The dishes were so tasty and its a must visit place.

Tasty noodles. Most flavors are delicious. You can select from around 6 flavors and between rice and noodles. They offer halal food and accept cash and cards.
My Indian friends recommend me this but it doesn’t go well with my asian taste buds. Shade.

the food was phenomenal and it really bugs me that took forever but once I got my food home I realised the reason is everything is fresh

Went there as I had a few drinks next door and I was hungry. Doesn't look like much from outside but even though they offer multi Asian food that seemed to be too similar the taste of my curry was delicious!!! Had a look at other dishes that came out of the tiny kitchen and they looked great as well.
