Great area but the parking was absolutely awful! I had to wait over 30 minutes to park. We were stuck outside on the road for over 10 minutes with no wait to turn around and leave. After all that time we finally got in and there were no spots so we had to wait in a line.

Excellent place for walking alone or with family. There are different trails, from easy to more difficult ones.
One of the best trails I have walked we walked around the whole park and river and saw a lot of wildlife and they have amazing forest rangers on site to help in any way Damien was an amazing ranger and helpful to me
I am a jogger/ walker and this is an Absolutely beautiful place to go for some amazing trails if you are in this area! There is also beautiful wildlife too, its all around a beautiful park!! A must visit!!!
Nice place to hike around the lake. On pretty days be prepared to wait for a parking spot. Don't get a ticket by parking in unauthorized spaces.
Beautiful views and nice trails, wished we could have stayed longer. Even on a dreary day we still couldn’t enough of this gorgeous state park.
I had to wait about 10 minutes for spot which was not bad. They have it set up so that you can wait in an area that you can see a car leave before you drive the circle, that way you don't have to drive around in circles. The east lot also has a restroom and a bench and access to trails, one that goes around the whole park and another that leads to the lake.
