Radnor Lake State Park is the perfect hike for me. Not too long, not too short. The grounds are beautifully maintained. The scenery is gorgeous. I appreciate the lack of dogs on the trails, unlike others leaving reviews. It’s my favorite place to bring guests that want to see what kind of scenery Nashville has to offer.

A beautiful trail around the Radnor Lake. The trail is very peaceful and one can look out for deer, bald eagles, and plenty of ducks and tortoises. The trail has a large space for free parking area

Beautiful lake trails and wildlife! We saw an otter, so many turtles, and the new baby eagles and their mama. An amazing place to spend a few active hours in Nashville! It was very busy, even on a Thursday morning so prepare to wait for parking, or walk a while to get there. Stop in the education center because the lady inside was very sweet and helpful!

Beautiful hiking area close to the city. Very busy on weekends. Went on a Sunday around 3pm. We had to wait in line about 15 minutes for a parking spot. There was a park ranger letting in one car at a time as another car came out. No picnics allowed.

Radnor Lake State Park is an excellent place to view wildlife and scenery. It is very well maintained, probably better than any other state park. It has great walking trails along with excellent subjects for photographers. The only downside is its popularity, it is very difficult to park unless you arrive early, very early.
