Truly the vacation of a lifetime...words cannot do this experience justice. Our tour was masterminded by GALKIWI and could not have been better. The best way to totally experience the Galapagos Islands is through a guide and our guide PEPO was AMAZING! He was fun and ultra informative...an absolute gem. It shows that he cares greatly about your experience and he takes great care to insure that your visit is wonderful! You will see wildlife, ocean life, volcanic activity plus much, much more than you would ever experience without a knowledgeable guide. The entire visit will be leaps and bounds beyond your expectations! We've been fortunate to take some fantastic trips....this one surpassed all my expectations!

Don't go. This was uninhabited when Darwin was here, now you have ' civilization '. Sewers, cars, hotels, roads.
I'm sure the wildlife can do without all of that and they will be better off being left alone.
Go decimate some other Eden.

Definitely a place out of this world.
Really expensive because of the huge entrance fee (100$), you can find your way if you travel as a backpacker.
Fauna is just amazing... But you have to go for diving because the Galapagos is also and mostly famous for its marine animals... Yes it is really expensive (160$ for two dives), but the density of marine animals is just insane.

Where to go?
Santa Cruz : Las grietas, Charles Darwin centre, El chato, dive at Gordon rocks (advanced), Tortuga Bay
Isabela : perla de la Concha (swim with sea lions), Los tuneles (day tour : 100$, but definitely worth it), Las tintoreras, Playa del amor, crianza center, and a trip to one of the volcanos (tour around 40$)

Hope it helps
