Athens Family Restaurant Brunch, Burgers, Steak, Chops and Seafood

The food was fabulous! Our party ordered a variety of items and everything was top notch. The portion size was good, the food was freshly made and it was delicious!

This was our first time visiting Athens family restaurant. It was absolutely delightful. The food was extremely fresh and delicious. We ordered two Gyro platters, Pinot Grigio, and hummus. We will definitely be back!

Everytime we come to Sarasota!!! We love their lamb!

I love this place. It is an unknown gem. My hats is off too whoever buys they're produce. That Greek salad is so tasty. Best calamari I've ever had stateside. The crust doesn't fall off. Just perfect!!! The aveglemeno soup is pretty tasty.

Authentic Greek food with Authentic Greek desert like galaktopoureko and mpougatsa. Greeks will know what they are...So if you want good Greek food go here. Clean and plenty of room in and out. Specials at lunch time. 😋

We have been coming here for over a year and every time the food and service is excellent. We have had quite a few dishes from their menu and cuisine is authentic cooking. This time we had the Gyro Platter and Lamb Bacon Burger with the Fried Calamari appetizer. All fresh ingredients and served in good portions. We always come back because of the quality of the dishes. My wife had the Lam Chops awhile back, it was their special that day, and they were amazing. My loved the Lam Bacon burger and even had a hard time finishing it and thats rare that he can'y finish his meal. The salads are all real fresh and crispy. This is just a nice place to come eat with friends, family, couples, or alone. The have a few tables outside if you prefer outdoor dining. The service is excellent and they always make you feel welcome. They are located in The Colonnade shopping center right off Bee Ridge a short distance east from Tamiami Trail. The dining is ample and spacious and parking is right out front with parking spaces available.
