From an architectural and design standpoint, the Burj Khalifa is very impressive. When you see the size of it in person, you realise just how massive it is! Your neck has to jolt back to its maximum so see just how tall is it.
We decided to pay for the viewpoint experience. The price was very extortionate at over £150. The views were very nice but it was quite over-crowded with people looking to get pictures in the prime locations.
The pictures taken by staff as a mock in front of the Burj Khalifa were both pathetic and ridiculous. Lady tried to charge me £400 for some pictures taken on what looked like a 1.3 mega pixel camera!
I’d not recommend going to the viewpoint. If the weather turns out to not be in your favour, all you will see is haze or dust from the sand passing in the atmosphere at that altitude.
The Burj Khalifa is best viewed looking at it from outside, not from within looking out.
