Strawberry Hill

I can’t leave a review as the food never arrived!!!
An order of oxtail, curried goat and jerk chicken (with a combination of rice n peas, plain rice and hard food), plus a side order of plantain.
Extremely disappointed when the order (which was placed through Uber eats) was suddenly cancelled.
Not good when it’s essentially your much anticipated Sunday dinner.
We called Strawberry Hill immediately and spoke to Vanessa, who appeared unaware. She then checked and confirmed the cancellation (and that we were not charged).
We wanted the meal though. Not being charged seemed irrelevant at that point!
Would have been great if she had taken the initiative and just put the food in a cab.
The local Indian came to the rescue though. We ordered an alternative meal from them - and they delivered!!

I work literally down the road from Strawberry Hill and no joke I go there everyday after work. This is by FAR and I mean by FAR the best Caribbean restaurant I have ever been to, the level of taste is no joke. I have tried many many many Caribbean restaurants and I can guarantee you won’t find better than Strawberry Hill. I introduced all my friends, family and my partners family to Strawberry Hill and now they can’t keep away, which says alot. Extremely delicious and filling food. Hats off to the chef, owner and the 3 lovely ladies that takes the orders.

I'd been meaning to try Strawberry Hill for ages. So glad I finally did. The food was delicious and the portions are generous.

Ackee and saltfish was great, so too was the plantain. Will definitely be coming back!

Well currently my mouth is dancing my feet are tapping what a meal.
Brown stew chicken Mac n cheese oh lord take the wheel absolutely amazing but don’t get me started on the dumpling that deserved a shimmy 😂 that was a meal I never wanted to end thank you so much. I would have posted a picture but as you can guess there was not enough time.

Strawberry Hill, hats off to you. This food was absolutely amazing. I got the boneless jerk chicken with rice & peas and dumpling. When I say this is one of the best and most authentic tasting Jamaican food I’ve had in a long time!!! Got the vegetable curry as well for my dad, it was top tier. You left my household very happy. Ordered through Just Eat, delivery was really quick & piping hot. I also like the fact your main and side are packed in 2 separate containers as well so you can easily plate up as much as you want. Thanks again, you’ve got a customer for life.

Ordered from Strawberry hill several times over the last few months and I must praise the deliciousness and consistency. I've tried many Caribbean restaurants and honestly this is one of the best. My deliveries have always been on time or early on many occasions and the food is sublime. Right level of spice, and flavour. Always comes hot and delicious. I highly recommend the curry goat, jerk chicken, oxtail, mac and cheese and plantain. The jerk sauce is also a must for anyone who loves to pour extra sauce over their meat and rice like I do. Very happy family will continue to order from Strawberry hill time after time.
