Probably the best exhibition on Afghanistan I've ever seen. Really good displays in a huge building.

I like the war museum and I recognize the most of the things they have experienced cause I unfortunately experienced also the war in Afghanistan in my childhood.
The times changing and technology is developing all the time and getting modern and more dangerous

Interesting and big museum with lots of history. Goes from knights in armor from the 1500 all they way up to the 2000th. Ships battles in the Baltic, cannon development over the ages, ww1, ww2, there is also a leopard 1 tank outside to look at, Denmarks part in Nato and Afghanistan, the cold war, and now also a recent addition about the ongoing war in the Ukraine. War is not the most great of topics but if we don't remember history we are bound to repeat it.

Great museum, enjoy.

The exhibition about the presence of the Danish army in Afghanistan was very interesting. Very peaceful, allowing you to calmly see the museum.

Really nice and interesting to visit. Fascinating to see so many weapons, armoured vehicles, cannons, all from various ages during the history of Denmark, for example about medieval times, the Danish navy, the conflicts with Sweden, Prussia and then Germany, until the modern day with a section dedicated to the Danish troops sent to fight in Afghanistan.
Amazing for history nerds like me and it’s a visit i recommend

Visited with my copenhagen card and spent around 40 minutes there. Learned quite a lot of danish war history. Disappointed that they didn’t include much about their role in forcing underage german pows to clear the mines after ww2. The exhibition about the current ukraine war is quite emotional and good.
