Review is a bit late but we finally settled from traveling. We visited on 1/1/2024 for dinner and the whole experience was wonderful. The host was welcoming, and our waiter Paolo walked us through the menu, offered insight to the dishes and was very kind and attentive. The atmosphere was romantic, white table cloth, candle light, very elegant. Our food- oh my gosh our food- amazing. From the bread and dipping sauce, appetizers, salads, to the main course and dessert. Everything was so, so good. I really can’t express it enough, the pasta was amazing and I come from an Italian family, I mean it, it was so good. And their Parmesan!!! So good. Maybe I over did it on my dish but it was yummy. We didn’t have to travel to “little Italy” for classic Italian, this place is it. Bolognese might be a simple dish, but theirs was more than just delicious. I never finish a dish before my boyfriend but this time I did, it was delicious, and if I lived in NY I’d be there again right now. Thank you so much to the staff for making our first dinner as an engaged couple memorable, and thank you to the kitchen for such a delicious meal.

Wonderful dinner while visiting the city. As authentic as it gets this side of the Atlantic.

We went on a busy Friday night and were able to get a table with minimal notice. The server was okay, had to ask another staff member to refill water and again where our cocktails were. Overall the food was great. The veal was fantastic, as was the burrata. The gnocchi had a perfect texture, just personally felt like the sauce needed a little more dimension. I think a veggie, pancetta, or something could complement the sharpness. The warm brownie at the end was the perfect capstone for a delicious meal.

A really beautiful location with great staff. The wine selection and menu were superb! I ordered the gnocchi and unfortunately it tasted pretty bland and unimpressive, especially for the $26 price tag. The rest of my party wasn't blown away by their dishes, but I would definitely be willing to go back and try again.

Excellent service! Perfect for a quiet meal, feels like you’ve stepped away from the chaos of midtown. Would be great if you have a dinner where you want to be able to hear each other but still be in a nice atmosphere.

Menu definitely had something for everyone (vegetarian, vegan, etc) too. The servers were absolutely lovely and made us feel well taken care of!

Excellent service! I brought my mother and family here Saturday night after a horrible dining experience the night before at a steakhouse chain. Our experience at Barolo was so refreshing. Food was delicious, wait staff was always ready to serve and very friendly. I will definitely be back next time I'm in the city.

Came here for dinner on a Monday night at 8:30pm and the place was at about 50% capacity. We were the last people to leave at 10:30pm. I loved the food! I recommend the fettuccine and also the tiramisu for dessert. This is a perfect date spot, it was very classy and not pretentious.
