Very nice museum and environment around 👌
a heartwarming and welcoming place with an lovely permanent collection and very creative temporary exhibitions that mimic the architectural mix of golden and modern ages. lovely terrace restaurant in the inner garden too.
special kudos to the remarkably friendly and helpful staff for making foreign visitors feel truly welcome

It is very nice and comfortable culture space. Very good for admiring artworks, very well organized. Staff is extremely nice and polite. You may also go to the yard with a café and a couple of magnificent trees. We visited it for the temporary exhibition of Bruegel family's art, it was organized in the best way.
Nice collection of art, both contemporary and traditional ones. I really enjoyed the time I spent here.

The first hall wasn’t impressive at all. Makes you believe you can be an artist too by destroying a canvas with tools ⚒

But the rest of the museum was nice!

The museum has couple exhibitions, modern art, history of the region, Van Gogh, and older paintings... The modern art is quite boring, you can skip it... Architecture and other exhibitions very nice! Bare in mind, not everything is translated to english.

Always a joy to visit this peaceful location in a busy city centre. A large collection of historical works, a tour through Brabant's growth over the centuries and consistently inspiring contemporary art shows, from both young creatives just starting out, through to established artists with career spanning shows.

I even joined up with the Museumkaart so I can return as many times as I wish over the year and other places. It worked out that after about 4-5 shows everything else is for free, and you can return to amazing places like this again and again. And support them too!
