One of my favorite spots for brunch in NYC. Took my kids there at the end of November, it was beautiful and festive. The desserts are divine.
I love their egg with whipped cauliflower and tofu.

They just won’t let you sit in if your group are not all here, even though you “beg” them so.

The silverware came dirty with dried green leaf on.

The waiter poured the water just on my table, which is unprofessional.

We had a reservation and I came on a rainy and windy morning and I was cold and hungry. I asked the front desk to let me sit and order first. They just refuse.

Well what can I say?

Definitely had high expectations for an evening of French cuisine. Walked in and was WOWED for 10 seconds by venue until we were seated by the 2nd section in rear retail shop. Ambiance changed from elegant & romantic to brightly lit shopping.

We had 3 different servers during the course of the evening. Our Salmon entree got mixed up with a chicken instead. It tasted good so we did not point out the mistake. Also got billed $10 extra for a Shrimp Apero. This was rectified. We arrived at 4:30 but ordered from both menus.

The Apero menu is 3-5 pm Monday- Friday. Dinner starts at 5 pm. Overall the food was good but lacked excitement. I was hoping to be overwhelmed.

The staff was polite & accommodating. We would return for another try of the Apero but would insist for seating in the main section.

Disclaimer: I ONLY had their chocolate chip cookie but if the rest of the restaurant is as good as this cookie, then it's an easy 5 stars. The cookies were fantastic with a great salty/sweet thing going on. The restaurant itself also looked super cute and the food looked delicious so I am, without a doubt, coming back to try some of their delicious looking brunch items.

From a distance, La Mercerie appears to be a brunch spot, but dinner turned out to be a pleasant surprise , candle lit romantic setting is perfect for a date , as for the food , The beef au poivre exceeded my expectations and stands out . Other dishes were good too , and so was the dessert

Absolutely gorgeous place. We celebrated our anniversary there - so glad we picked this place! The food and the atmosphere really reminded us of our beloved Paris

Nice view, just don’t like the service at all ,my friend booked for two indoor but the front desk girl told no not when I am there ,and put me outdoor seat I was want to leave , and then my friend came and telling them and then she gave us a indoor table. I feel bad the beginning she put me out , and the food just ok ,the short rib meat is very fat inside feel like I eating a cold white fat pork ,the green bean is good , the cod fish is fresh but less salt, taste a little light .I know they are very busy …but the service need to move up
