Consulate General of Brazil in Los Angeles

I have never been treated so well in a government office like this one, from the front desk, the security guards, etc. Everyone super nice, and very competent. They went the extra mile to get things done. Special thanks to Fabio and Deise.

After struggling with my passport Fábio from the consulate called me home and helped me organize myself. But after a few weeks I forgot all the instructions. I called and he helped me all over again. Step by step, he helped me get organized again. That’s the kind of person that makes a stressful situation not so scary

Impossible to secure personal assistance by telephone, e-mail,
or in-person. 1st floor Guard will not allow visitors to their suite.
No response to on-line submission of their form, which is challenging to follow their prompts or use of English words.

I accompanied my wife, a native Brazilian. Everybody was so nice. By the way, the consulate is in the new location. Bye-bye, statue of John Wayne!

I’ve renewed my passport twice at this consulate location and had a smooth and fast experience both times. The second time I needed a passport replacement urgently. I called and was helped very efficiently and kindly. I was able to get an emergency appointment and received my new passport within hours.

The website is not the most user friendly, but it only took me a few minutes to figure out what I needed.

I have nothing but appreciation and gratitude for all the staff!

They were marvelous and extremely efficient in processing my new passport and in answering my questions. I was highly impressed.

The reception was excellent! Everyone was so welcoming and polite. The service is exceptional. The place was also organized and clean.
