This pre-islamic era fort/castle is dateing back to probably early Sassanid. In recent years there has been some minor restoration.
Narin or Naryn is historical castle in Naiin city near by Jameh mosque and it’s one the attraction of Naiin city. Unfortunately the original building destroyed and there is nothing left to visit.

Ruins of mud brick citadel and not much to see. It is free entry and is not under any supervision. Save your effort unless you like scampering around old castles!
The citadel is very impressive. You can still see its former grace! Will put five stars when it is repaired.
I'm very sad whenever I look at this castle, it has no entrance, it has no guard, it has no protection, I even can cry for this situation. You can compare it with the picture which belongs to 100 hundreds years ago
