Netherlands Embassy

Thank you so much Netherlands 🇳🇱 embassy for let me to visit your beautiful country,everything was gone so smoothly and Dutch people are so good and friendly,I really enjoyed the trip.

Visa processing is taking too much time...always telling system issues...I wonder and feeling india is more faster than solving issue than netherlands...

Our appointment was at 0930 but we had to wait until 1000 even though there were only two applicants in total. The security guard said that the embassy staff were in a regular meeting. Why have a meeting when there are people waiting? We had a newborn with us so we were hoping to finish and leave asap.

Once we were called in, everything was done in 5 minutes. So overall, we're happy about the visit.

Its amazing...They really helped me a lot...I had a tight timeline to travel and they processed my VISA on priority...they did not commit but they did it .I got my VISA just in time... Kudos to them and big thanks to each and everyone who worked on my application ...

Pros: ---------------
Cons:
1). VFS Takes days time to send Documents to Embassy
2). Once dispatched to Embassy you have no clue what is actually happening in Embassy.
3). Nobody from Embassy reverts back if any documents missing, even VFS global will not tell you what is missing during submission time.
4). Time Waste & Money Waste
5). If u seek help from Embassy on VISA status they routes to VFS & VFS says they are responsible for Document Collection.
6). Premium services are of waste, no benifit you get apart from snacks n soft drinks(anyways that are paid by you)
7). No Priority Slots available if your travel date is close to 2 Weeks.
8). Until u receive ur passport, nobody knows whthr vIsa is approved or refused.

The staff is very polite and helpful. They do take an extra step to help you will clarifying your queries and questions. The area is diplomatic area so the location of the embassy is fabulous and the facilities are great to provide wonderful customer support and satisfaction. VFS handles its visa processing but you can always visit the embassy for queries and to know about the culture.

If you have a Visa appointment here. Come prepared with enough food and water. You may have to wait for upto two hours till your appointment. There is no place to sit in front of the Embassy. On sunny/ summer days it is very hot and humid so bring an umbrella / cap/ sunglasses and preferably a USB fan. You can sit in the garden alongside shantipath and still keep an eye on the Embassy front gate. If you are traveling by a car, there isn't a good parking place nearby, so arrive only 1/2 hour before your appointment.
