Edina Country Club

We've eaten here a couple times a month for over thirty years. The atmosphere is comfortable but the food is only mediocre and the orders are often incorrect. The kids like it well enough but generally the adults stick to oatmeal or just coffee rather than deal with the disappointment of receiving wrong or poorly prepared food.

We have seen many changes of management and staff over the years and things always seem to improve for a brief while and then settle back into mediocracy.

I give it four stars instead of three because when I order the chef's special or when there is a buffet, the food is actually very good. However, it is not a good place to go if you have special dietary restrictions, as any deviation from the menu seems to disrupt things.

My five year old son would like you to know that they have the best Chicken fingers and that their Oreos are good too.

I attended a Clinical Education event here. It's a nice Country Club. The Club lacks enough parking spaces to hold an event during golf season, but the help was friendly and the food was good.

Charlie was an amazing server...5 stars!! I had the Chilean Sea Bass. Very good, but not enough food on the plate. It should be accompanied by a salad or some kind of side dish. Nice experience tonite.

A true gem of a family friendly suburban country club. The course is very fun. Challenging but extremely playable.

Interesting links style bunkering around the greens at Edina CC. You've got to be very creative with the short game. Lots of elevation changes driving down into valleys and back up to elevated greens. Had a really enjoyable round of golf out here today.

The staff were friendly and amazing. There is a very nice pool area for the kids and a new outdoor dual fireplace patio being built.

Highly recommended.

Was here for a presentation put on by former Governor Tim Pawlenty. While his presentation was incredible, I noticed a few things about our meal and the grounds themselves.

Our meal was sub-standard. Thawed shrimp on bowtie pasta was I would expect a hurried parent to throw together at the end of a long day of work. My dessert was quite good though.

The outside walkways were quite treacherous with ice on them and also standing water. I understand we are in Minnesota and we are at the end of winter, but this is a country club in Edina and people expect better.

The parking lot seemed incredibly small also for the size of the venue. This place could be incredible if it was run by someone who cared.
