Absolutely useless for Shengen visa applications. The delays for appointments are so long it's nearly impossible to plan a trip and purchase tickets ahead. Yet you need to have a ticket to get a visa...pathetic consulate in both Ottawa and Montreal!

Tailor Made Healthcare Spain had questions to ask about medical insurance for Spanish visa. The Embassy responded promptly and referred us to the right person when we questioned staff criteria for visa compliant private health insurance.

Might as well not exist. NO ONE EVER ANSWERS THE TELEPHONE OR WANTS TO HELP, AT ALL. I've been calling for months to get one simple task done. Really need to reach someone at the embassy.

My father passed away and i spoke with both the receptionist and a gentleman named Salvador. They were both very helpful and explained what documents they would need from me in order to have his pension payments from Spain stopped. Excellent Staff!

We have been going to the Embassy of Spain for years when it comes to the legalization of documents.

I went to register my daughter's as they have a claim to Spanish citizenship through their father. The man attending me was excellent. Very efficient as he helped me complete all the forms (not always obvious what was being asked).

My wife and I will visit Portugal ( 10 days ) and Spain (18 Days ). Last Wednesday we went to the Spain Embassy in Ottawa to apply for tourist visa with skeptical mind after reading some of the negative feedback about their visa service. But to our pleasant surprise, the consul was very kind and he was very efficient also!
