Wing Shinbashi

The Wing Shinbashi is an underground Mall where our hotel, the Park Place was located. As hubby and I walked the Mall, en route to the Shinbashi Station, we noticed that we were the only 2 people walking in our direction while throngs of people were on their way to work (we assume) coming toward us. Weird feeling! The Mall, a maze of halls in every direction, is filled with an array of first class boutiques and restaurants. In fact, we had dinner in one of the restaurants there one night and found that it was an interesting environment filled with locals. Had one of our best meals there for a surprisingly low price. Contrary to what we hear, meals are not expensive - unless you order beef. There is more life in the "Underground" than there is outside unless you visit the Ginza District.

A lot of sweet shop can be found. I also love the Japanese style restaurants.

Many small restaurants and small stores in this underground place inside the metro station. You can find all Japanese top food like ramen, soba, sushi... and convenient stores, supermarket and an papa beard cream puff !!!!

Great sesame noodle soup. Not super spicy and had a smoking table for those that are interested.
