Dauphin Island

Love this place.

Absolutely loved it there, and everyone seems so nice 🙂 I'll be back 😊 🤍🌊⛱️💦

We had a great time on the Island! Quiet, family friendly environment with exceptional restaurants within a few minutes of wherever you stay. Undeveloped beach on the end of the island is perfect for couples to walk the beach and setup a semi private picnic. Gulf Shores is about a 30 minute ferry ride away if you are looking for more commercial attractions. I would recommend bringing groceries with you or be prepared to drive 30-45 minutes to a large store. There is a trading post with excellent seafood on the island and souvenirs are less expensive on the island. I recommend the bakery and ice cream/ slushie/ pizza parlor as a must try. Fort Gaines is a must for history buffs and the golf course with restaurant is great too.

Love going to the beach. And loved going fishing off the pier.

Badass waves!!!! And if you swim out 50 yards there’s another sand bar hidden:))
