Experience the amazing view of the city from the roof of the arch. Purchase the ticket from the site of the monument and get inside MUCH MUCH faster. There are TONS of stairs to the top. There is room inside the arch with it's history written, some places to sit and a toilet. There is also a souvenir shop with plenty of things to buy. The view from the roof is amazing. Search the time that the sun sets and book your ticket accordingly in order to view the lighting of the Eiffel tower and the beautiful lights of champs elysée. Besides if the sky is sunny it'll get really hot up there.
The view is beautiful when you go up! You can see the whole of Paris. We bought our tickets via getyourguide and used the stairs. Please do not cross the road to get to the arc, there is an underground passageway you can use. Overall a must-go when in Paris!

However the square around the arch has many cars making it quite dangerous to walk around. The arch is very impressive and a very iconic place in Paris.

Great spot! Top of the Champs Elysee and other great streets with cafes and shops galore. Quiet early morning but after that it’s hectic! When you’re at it, the Eiffel Tower looks tiny beside it. I didn’t have time to go up the top of the Arc which costs around €13. Next time…
Best experience with kids! The view is stunning! Come and experience it for yourself! You have to be patient as many people want to go up! Get ready for a warm up as you have to go trough stairs! Great time seeing my kids showing me how the can go up faster and counting all stairs! Beautiful beautiful ❤️

Staff were friendly and very helpful, they showed us where we needed to go to and sent a staff member to walk us over to where the elevator was located.
The view from the top was incredible, great view in all directions and an especially good view of the Eiffel Tower, which is best viewed in the dark!

Highly recommend a visit. Watch the stairs though. When we arrived in Paris I wasn't feeling very well but persisted with the climb. Thank goodness there is a rest point, seats, information displays over half way up with the viewing camera looking directly below. Once at the top, you are greeted with 360 views of the beautiful Paris laid out before you. Enjoy the distant views and the amazing feats of endurance, skill and nerve of the drivers circling around the roads below you. Such an amazing monument and totally worth the visit any time of day or night.
