Strongly recommend you buy your ticket in advance . We got stuck in a crowded line in order to have it.its better to go there in weekdays unless you want to waste most of you day in traffic of people wanting to get in telecabin
If you go around the world you will find a lot of cities like Tehran which has a chain of very high mountains just adjacent it, fully snow capped in winter an partially in spring and even summer till June. The temperature difference between the first station and last (7th) station, could be reached to 20 degree centigrade! in some days. You will have access to restaurants, shops, hotel and ski slope there in the higher stations.
Stunning heights and great vistas over Tehran specially in winter. Also, a good ski resort 🎿 with attractive slopes.
However, Cabins are way too old & rusty. The machinery is in desperate need of new equipment, modernisation & renovation!!
One of the staff members was very disrespectful.
Given the condition of gondola, tickets are expensive.

Top of Tehran, cool place, nice restaurant to eat breakfast in station 5
A beautiful ski resort in Northern part of Tehran with #fascinating #view over the city. The highest peak is called Tochal which is in Alborz range. So much amenities such as tele siege, sleigh, archery, tennis etc.
Tochal has one of the longest lift line in the World which has 4 stations.(Station 1,2,5,7) You need to change lift at station 5.
The mountain is super popular destination in every season.
Be careful the lift doesn't run in windy or heavy snow.
I can't recommend this place more. Don't miss this spectacular place.

Very beautiful place and very worthy to spend the day there, it’s a cable car network that takes you to the top of Tochal mountain with amazing views of the mountains with large, white coat of snow that covers them, and breathtaking views of Tehran city as well, i do highly recommend this activity to anyone visiting Tehran.(The photos are from my trip back in early 2019)
Best choice for spending weekend at wintertime with your family.Enjoy the beautiful snowy mountains view from the cable car,climb up and slide and have fun.You can buy Netbarg for discount.There is a normal restaurant at 5th station as well.
