Such a fun speakeasy! Started with a serving of olives and a mussel amuse bouche. I'm quite allergic to mussels so they took it away but surprised me with a tuna sashimi version. Very nice!
I ordered the Wasabi Martini and it was absolutely excellent. Dying to recreate it at home! Hubs ordered a Blanton's Old Fashioned, which was amazing just from the bourbon alone! IYKYK
For the meal, we ordered the guacamole to start. Awesome guac if you are a connoisseur! I ordered the Calaf eggs with fois, which was very good but served over French fries. Resturant liegt im Hintezimmer (wahrscheinlich ehemalige Dunkelkammer) der Dry Martini Bar, eine bekannte Bar zum "Kennenlernen" in Barcelona.
Die Tatsache, dass man rausgeführt wird, um dann via eine unscheinbare Eigentüre aus der Strasse mittels Password wieder rein muss, ist ziemlich kindisch. Soll wohl eine Art von Exklusivität sein, als wenn man in ein versteckten Platz eingelassen würde. Dafür wird man an Bierkisten, an der Küche und weiteren Lager ähnlichen Plätzen vorbeigefuhrt.
In der Tat beschreibt sich das Restaurant als "geheimes" Restaurant. Na ja... ist halt ein Konzept, um sich irgendwie zu unterscheiden. Etwas kindisch und billig, aber na ja.
Einmal drinnen, sind die Kellner sehr zuvorkommend. Ambiente gediegen und ein Hauch von Eleganz. Ziemlich dunkel - ist ja ein geheimer Ort. Das Essen ist ganz gut, wenngleich mit ein paar Stilfehlern. Wir hatten Thunfisch Tataki (der sehr lecker war), aber leider war die Beilage oder Dekoration nur ein paar alte Rucola Blätter mit 2 Cherry Tomaten drauf. Meine Rühreier mit Entenleber waren auf ein Pommes Frites Bett. Und auch zum Steak Tartare (lecker) gab es auch Pommes Frites als Beilage. Der Reis mit Meeresfrüchten war auch an sich gut, aber leider lieblos auf den Teller geklatscht.
Preislich mit 50% Rabatt via The Fork war angemessen.
Brot wird mit 4,5 Euro pro Person extra berechnet, und einfach auf den Tisch gestellt, auch wenn man nixht danach gefragt hat. Ist halt auch ein Stilfehler.
Fazit: ganz nett, aber im Detail noch zu verbessern, vor allem für den eleganten Anspruch den dieses Restaurant hat

Superbly designed food menu and the staffs were extremely professional and knowledgeable. Kudos to both Alejandro and Alex for the good service. Recommended good wine pairings and very attentive to the table
I was skeptical going to a place that calls itself a speakeasy in a country that never had prohibition, but it is a cool spot. High quality food and service and reasonably priced. I really liked their empanadas.

We had the foie croquetas and pan con tomate for starters and both tasted good. As a main I had the tuna belly with mushroom suggestion, it was a big portion and fresh.
I wasn’t a big fan of the Manhattan cocktail.

Fantastic!!! The restaurant is hidden behind bar with a secret door and tunnel, very fun and mysterious experience.
We went for lunch for 3 people and to share the dishes. All the things we ordered are seasonal, creative, artistic presented, carefully balance the layers of taste of different ingredients. The wine choice is amazing. For cocktail the wasabi flavor is super creative and surprisingly great. The service is excellent, elegant and professional.

Ein fantastisches 'Back Room Restautant', man gelingt durch die Hintertür einer Bar in dieses tolle Ambiente. Die Einrichtung ist sehr gelubdgen und die hochwertige Qualität der Speisen, Cocktails und die riesen Auswahl an Weinen sind sensationell. Das Personal ist super freundlich und sehr bemüht. Preis/Leistung passen auf jeden Fall. Unbedingt einen Besuch wert!
