I have been to several 3 star Michelin restaurants and this is by far my favorite restaurant globally. Absolutely incredible food and presentation. Highly recommend the wine pairing. Best experience EVER!!
Fish and padron peppers undercooked. Wine was nice. Waiters were reasonably attentive. I would not go out of my way to return.

Exceptional food, service and place. Simple design puts the focus on the food, which was simply incredible. The wine pairings were very special and accompanied each dish exquisitely. Well deserved Michelin star for this restaurant!

This is the perfect place to go before the Barcelona football match. The servers are extremely efficient and speak perfect. English. My husband is celiac and was able to eat. The waiter warned us that the kitchen was small, so cross-contamination may exist, however. The wheat icon show which menu items contain gluten. The atmosphere is super fun. We ordered 3 drinks and 4 tapas and total came to 60 euros.
This restaurant was absolutely gorgeous, my group and I were visiting from nyc, and it was the best decision. I reserved in advance for a group for 10, but we walked in with 12 people! They were very happy and astonished, and my group and I absolutely loved the vibe, and the service was outstanding, very impressive. This is the best Barcelona restaurant I have ever been to, and it was my first time in Barcelona. They had a pre fix menu, dinner without drinks for 40 euro pp and with drinks 45 euro pp. Anything ordered extra hot water and lemon is extra charge and even filter liter water was charged 3 euros. However, it was affordable and very upscale all at the same time. I would highly highly recommend this restaurant. Pre fix appetizers were 3 dishes per table. However, we were fortunate because they served 6-7 endless amounts of appetizer tapas actually lost count, but It was an amazing experience, and the evening will always be remembered. Thank you so much!

Absolutely mesmerizing World No. 2 restaurant, every dish is so creatively presented and tastes delicious. Love chilling out at the outdoor courtyard after meal for dessert and coffee. Definitely will come back again!
Absolutely 10/10. We weren’t always fans for creative cuisines in the past, and honestly didn’t do too much research before booking it (only know it is world no. 2), so we didn’t know what we were getting into, but man, what an amazing experience!
Since it’s our first time, we chose the classic tasting menu at 255€. Not only were we impressed by the creativity, thinking and craft that went into the menu, but also the fact that there were 28 courses! It might actually be a bit difficult to finish all courses just because it’s sooo much food, but it’s definitely a great value for money on all fronts - food, service and the vibe. The patio they had in the back is really cute and we enjoyed our desserts there.
One little drawback is the cocktails. This is definitely not their strong suit, so I guess we will try wine pairing next time.

Can't rate this place highly enough, two visits, 5 years apart, and it's even better now than it was when it kick started our Michelin habit. Food is excellent, by anyone's standards, the wait staff can't do enough for you (spoilt my partner for his birthday!), and the new venue is bigger and better. Well worth the 2 Michelin stars, and every single euro. If you are in Barcelona, try and get in, you will not regret it.

We visited TAPS Bar for dinner and drinks whilst we were staying in Barcelona, and it turned out to be a good highlight of our trip. The restaurant was packed when we visited, with both tourists and locals alike, all enjoying the great drinks and atmosphere.
We ordered a fabulous selection of tapas dishes to enjoy alongside a wonderful bottle of wine from the Basque region - which I would highly recommend. The croquettes were some of the nicest I’ve ever tasted, and even something as simple as hummus was delicious. The service was just as good as the food, very efficient, attentive and friendly.
We finished with the Crema Catalan which was absolutely delicious. If you are looking for a great meal out with friendly service whilst visiting Barcelona, then you won’t go wrong with TAPS Bar.

Food and atmosphere was amazing. I'd recommend getting the prawns and mussels as your appetizers. We tried all the appetizers and all the entrees. They were all pretty good and tasty.
Best restaurant in the world, in my opinion. From start to finish they delivered food and experiences that were professional, enjoyable and impressive. In terms of booking, you may need to reserve one year in advance or get lucky by calling and/or booking when there is a last minute cancellation.
Das Restaurant TAPS Bar in Barcelona ist auf jeden Fall empfehlenswert. Die Bedienung war freundlich und hat uns prompt einen Tisch zugewiesen. Die rustikale Einrichtung verlieh dem Ort eine gemütliche Atmosphäre. Die frisch zubereiteten Tapas kamen schnell auf den Tisch und haben uns alle geschmeckt. Besonders erwähnenswert ist der Oktopus, der wirklich herausragend war. Wer eine entspannte Umgebung, gute Tapas und freundlichen Service sucht, wird hier sicherlich zufrieden sein.

Had a lovely dinner at 9 Nine. This was the first dinner seating after their summer break. Service and food were both excellent!
They had a set menu (40 eur without drinks, 45 eur with drinks). We chose the drinks option which came with 3 glasses of wine each. Both menu also came with a welcome drink of choice, my partner had the cava while I had the beer.
For the selection of the appetizers, we chose the foie with eggs, mussels and the prawns.
Foie with eggs, potato and truffle: The blend of the ingredients were superb! (portions were a little large for 2 pax, did manage to finish it as it was our first course). Would have preferred a smaller portion for 2 pax.
Mussels: Only complaint was that there were too many mussels as we were served an entire pot of them! Could not finish and I felt bad wasting the food :(
Prawns were perfectly cooked, deshelled, and in perfect portion, two pieces each.
For the mains we chose the suckling pig and the ribeye (additional charge)
No complaints about the beef, it was well cooked. They also provided a hot plate if you would like to make the meat more cooked if necessary. It also came with a side of potato or fries (which we unfortunately did not eat as we were too full)
Suckling pig was really well done, meat fell off the bone and the skin was really crispy. The innermost part did feel a little mushy though but I think that can’t be helped with the way the dish is prepared in the event the meat is over cooked.
Chose the Mille feuilles which came with vanilla ice cream and combined really well with the pastry. Also had the creme Brûlée which was excellent! Would love another chance to visit during my next trip in the future

Este encantador restaurante con vistas a la montaña ofrece una experiencia memorable. La comida en general es buena, pero te recomiendo especialmente probar la ternera con pera, el cual es una delicia, así como el postre de pera bañada en ratafia, que son verdadera especialidad de la casa. Aunque las albóndigas y el gazpacho no alcanzaron las expectativas, el servicio es impecable. Hay la posibilidad de disfrutar del lugar con privacidad y atención a los detalles más mínimos, especialmente si hay poca gente.
Not your average menu del dia in any sense. Price is super high, but the quality is way above than average. The service is top, it is very fast and friendly. Definitely one of the beat restaurant and menu del dias I hve ever had but you cant have menu del dias everyday because of the price. Definitey recommended
Unbelievable experience! Every single dish was mouthwatering. We didn’t know what to expect as it was our first night in Barcelona. Their food is on another level, also the atmosphere and the interior is amazing. The lady who served us was super kind :)
Great spot with old fashioned decor for tapas. Legit ham croquettes and well cooked octopus. Highly recommend the goat cheese with almonds and honey. Simple but done well and the goat cheese isn’t too strong.
The standout was definitely the pulled pork tacos. Apparently it was added to the menu recently. The wine with lemonade is as expected. Fast and friendly service.

such a nice place for dinner. we did the fixed menu, 3 appetizers, one entree, dessert, and a drink. highly recommend. the portions are good and the food was delicious! make a reservation if you have a larger party.

The people running the front of the front of the restaurant outdid themselves. They squeezed me in (I should have made a reservation, that's my mistake). As far as a Michelin star, small plates - you can expect it to be pricey, and the food will be on the advant guard, more uncommon flavors or exotic ingredients. Price wise, it wasn't inexpensive but it is an experience. Some of the things I liked was the spinach and anchovy macaroon. The bean, prawn, and roe(?) Dish was good too. The rice was alright, the presentation of the dinner was a little odd. The rice in particular was wheeled out on a home made cart out of 2x3, with a little barbie sized house. Maybe the explanation behind it works out better in Spanish.
The breakfast the day was fantastic. Lots of cold meats, some pastries, kale juice, sausages and options for omlettes. They left the little barbie house unguarded out during breakfast so I took a photo. The plating of the breakfast is me making a pile of stuff, the dinner plating was well done.

We had a wonderful meal at xerta. The venue was pristine, with nice lighting and interior decoration.
We had the a la carte menu and started the meal with some lovely bread (you can choose from white bread, seed bread or nut bread) and olive oil. Then came the amuses bouches; my personal favourites were the spoon with octopus on it, and the spinach macaron. There were a multitude of flavours in the amuses bouches and it was a great start to the meal. Having only eaten at these kinds of restaurants a couple of times, I didn't realise that you get amuses bouches even if you don't get the tasting menu, so that was a nice surprise.
Alongside the amuses bouches the waiter gave us a brief backstory of the restaurant since its inception. Throughout the meal the staff were all friendly, with the waiter even cracking a couple of jokes. The only thing that I would have said could be improved with the service is that we had to wait quite a while for our dessert to arrive.
The duck and rice starter was very tasty, hearty and I enjoyed it; however once I had tasted the smoked eel ravioli which my girlfriend had, I was quite jealous and wished I had ordered it.
The wild boar main course was again very nice and had great flavours, but if you have it then don't get carried away with eating the cocoa soil as it is a bit overpowering. The seabass catch of the day was nice but probably not as good as the other dishes we had.
The delta trail dessert was a mixed bag; the chocolate and apricot mousses were great, the triangular white thing (I think some kind of cheesecake) was also good. The biscuit and the honey foam were less good.
We then had a surprise, as it was my birthday they brought out a little birthday cheesecake; it was very creamy and had some nice tangy fruit coulis on top.
The last thing we ate were the petit fours; the chocolate macaron was really nice, the other sweet was okay.
One thing I would say about all of the food was that it was immaculately presented, probably the best out of any restaurant I've ever been to.

They tried to add 25€ to the bill after overcharging for the food and drinks. They are tourist predators. Horrible food, service and people.

Also, you have no amuse-bouche. I think every client will appreciate a small compliment from chef.
Another comment: chairs are very uncomfortable. Please, change it. It’s impossible to be seated more than 30 min on this chair.

Great restaurant! And if you have dietary requirements, definitely visit this restaurant when in Barcelona! They have a lot of options too, for example eat gluten free and lactose-free and they think along very well with any dietary requirements. For me it was easily possible to eat gluten free, lactose-free and without garlic and onion. They even could adjust most of the dishes for me. It was very tasty!

Amazing tasting menu for a really good price!! Not too big dishes, and really amazing flavours. We had the wine flight with the menu and it was INCREDIBLE! The server was able to tell us so many interesting things! Come here - You won’t regret it
An absolute rip off. Go at your own peril. €36 for two cocktails. And they were even that good!!! Avoid at all costs. Much better places right next door.
The "TAPS BAR" is a really good looking and recommended location. The interior is on another level and the food was very very delicious. The Service was just perfect, the waiting time for your food or drinks was abslout fast. You ordered and it was right there. The price point also is acceptable for this amount of food.

Absolutely incredible experience. We were lucky enough to have the 'Living Table' experience in the private room through the wine cellar. This was hands down the best meal I've had in the world. 🙏 Thank you so much for the humbling experience and service. I hope I get to come back sometime in the near future.
We went for dinner and ordered the biggest taste menu on the list. All I can say is that it was once in a lifetime experience. We knew we are going to a Michelin star restaurant and our expectations were high, but the reality was even better. The food, service and atmosphere were simply outstanding and nothing we have experienced before.
Note: if you want to order the biggest taste menu, make sure you go in very very hungry. Even though the portions are relatively small, there are so many of them that you will have a really hard time finishing off everything!

My husband and I had such a wonderful time at El Foro!! We highly recommend. We ordered the medium dried steak. It was the best steak we’ve ever had. The service was wonderful and everyone was so friendly. We will definitely return when we visit Barcelona!
To this day almost three years ago it is still my best culinary experience ever.
Compared to other Michelin starred restaurants I’ve been to; Disfrutar is not overly complicating it in terms of tastes. They take well known and proven combinations and mix them up with amazing presentation skills and the creativity is impressive.

We went on a food tour, this was one of our stops. Great place of you live wine and meat! I loved the zucchini we got, it was fried and so flavorful. Definitely can recommend asking for it!
Thought food was ok until half way through my meal I had to use the rest room to remove said food from my stomach.( according to the waiter that’s because I had paella which is a rich food, that I clearly wasn’t used to having 🤔 & let me smell your fingers to see if you made yourself sick)
Following that we asked for the bill only to be given a bill of €87 for a pizza, paella and 2 cocktails.(no prices shown anywhere on menu for drinks).
When my wife asked how the 2 drinks cost £45 they laughed at her and said that’s the price.
I attempted to challenge this myself after returning from the toilet to which I was told that the price now pay it, he was very lucky that I didn’t insert bill up his rear end at this point however I asked to speak to the manager to which I was told they are in Israel so you can’t, but I’ll call the police and you can speak to them instead. I waited 40 min for the police to arrive. When they did they where very polite and told us we here few times every night for the same thing, I advise you don’t come here again as they are know for over charging tourists and write a review on online to try and help the next poor person who walks past - words from a police officer.

At first the waiter talked to another waiter in spanish about us and didn't know that I understand every word! The pasta was nice, the margarita was good. But the service was so bed that it effect the food. Was sorry I ever set there.
When he served the bill we paid with cash and left. He started screaming in the street we need to pay, I raised my hand and pointed the money on the table.(why on earth will I leave without paying?!) Was a terrible expirence, SUPER disepointed.

Fantastic experience and food
Unfortunately our plane was almost 2 hours delayed, and we had to jump into a taxi to rush here and just be "a little late"
But entering here, one felt calmed and instantly in a good mood.
I really liked the vibe here.
Food was simple, but very well-made and delicious.
One thing I have to mention though are the sizes! So much waste and I felt so bad, that I couldn't come near to finish.
But all in all a wonderful experience to have lunch here. And I will come back and maybe bring my husband with a large appetite. ;-)

Very nice food with lots of variety in the menu. You can tell the ingredients are good quality and everything is prepared with love. They also have organic wine which was very nice but the guy who served it was pretty stingy with the amount he served us, also the waitresses were a bit forgetful, hence the 4 stars.
This restaurant was part of the hotel I was staying at with my girlfriend. As soon as we checked in, we went to reserve a table. I was totally impressed with the service and the food we were getting on the table. The combination of service and food made this restaurant an absolutely wonderful experience. Next time I visit Barcelona, I will definitely be back 🙂
Was recommended the eggplant of Guido with honey, walnut and Gorgonzola and it was the BEST vegetable dish I have ever tasted. The flavours were just exploding in my mouth. Will come back here again!
Best michelin restaurant ever! Just went here yesterday and right when we got there we got a really good complimentary drink. My whole family ordered the tasting menu & all the dishes were really good and creative! Its like nothing we’ve ever had before. A wine specialist helped us pick a wine & we got a bottle of it. It was very good wine & we appreciated the help we got from her. The service was great, everyone was so nice and very attentive. Our server was funny making the night even better. I definitely recommend if you want an experience like never before.

“del pueblo a la ciudad” concept makes the start unique. We tasted different flavors from the region in a simple and elegant set up! Wines paired with each dish was great. While the taste is a main driver for 2 Michelin stars, I still had higher expectations with the music, ambiance and presentation. A place strongly recommended!
Formal setting without being too much, the restaurant is well set up which makes nice smaller spaces for better intimacy. Prices are steep but quality is following most of the time. Tries mainly fish, seems met is a speciality. Service is good.

In between the ordered dishes they brought us various "free stuff", which were all exceptionally fabulous - tasty, creative and surprising.

Outstanding lunch at this *Michelin retaurant. Five servings filled with good stories and plenty of flavors. Everything focused around the delta south of Barcelona, where the chef comes from.
I think the tuna serving is my all time favorite tuna.
Really nice and broad wine list, pick some of the local wines and forget about the few "international" bottles in there.
Good tip is to go for lunch, where they offer a good deal.

Fantastic experience. The nicest food served by the nicest people. The owners and sons are the most friendly hosts and passionate foodies. We have made good friends and we’ll be back for the food and the warm hospitality.
Wonderful experience! Service and food are excellent. We took the executive menu and it was perfect for a lunch. The quantity is perfect and, with water and 2 glasses of wine, all is included! Will return again for sure (already the second time)

Very interesting tasting menu, very experimental and 'weird', but in a good way. The service was impeccable. We were very ignorant and thought that the VAT on the bill was a service charge, and realised long after we had left that we hadn't tipped.
Food was excellent. Incredibly fresh and high quality. Cooked to perfection. My lamb fell from the bone and was incredibly succulent, the beef, equally so. Our garlic shrimp were super fresh and the preparation was simple and allowed us to enjoy the simple nature of the dish.
Service was fantastic. Super friendly and fun but knew when to be there and when to give us space.

We had the tasting menu and they really impressed us. The quality and inventiveness of the dishes paired with the staff elevated the experience to something I know I’ll remember fondly for many years to come. This was a celebratory night of my husband’s birthday and they made it really special.
Excellent Argentinian steak and chicken. The vacio was amazing! The servers were friendly and made the dining experience even better! Desserts were delicious. Great ambiance.

I had one of the most special dining experiences of my life here. From the moment I stepped into the restaurant, I felt transported into chef Jordi Artal’s vision. The staff executed every detail to perfection. Ingredients were fresh and local. The 8 course tasting menu was absolutely packed with flavour and even some lovely surprises. At the end of the evening, I had the pleasure of meeting chef Artal. He is down-to-earth and his passion for culinary arts and the customer experience is obvious.
Everything was excellent! The grilled veggies were actually smoked right at the table, some of the best flavored vegetables I've ever had. The meats were super tender ans flavorful. Only criticism is that the bbq platter comes on a heated plate, which tends to overcook the meat you don't immediately scoop on your plate.

If i were to choose between food and the service i would go for the service. They have a great service but the food can be improved. The presentation is nice but the taste is not that good. Of all the food that l ate they was no 1 plate that l was like wow. They were all "normal" to me, but they're service was excellent 👌🏾
Great place with upmarket food - especially go for the Tasting Menu. The restaurant only has 8 tables so reservation also online is recommended. We had 7 courses and the different dishes were really great. Great flavors and very small portions - so expect a gourmet happening and not getting full :) The service team is not really speaking English but the Chefs actually took over and it was fun to talk with them about the dishes and the accompanying wine selection was stunning … not usual wines with great background stories.
Only one star deduction as the pigeon meat was quite tough and lost the sparkle, and the Menu was very heavy meat centric with a lot of foie gras… but hey, you are in Spain :)

The waiter mistook some of our orders and didn't charge for it. Try the mushroom dish they have, so unique and meaty.
The octopus dish was not that inspiring, other dishes were great though.

Great experience! This restaurant is quietly overshadowing some Michelin starred restaurants in the city. To me it is a hidden gem. The service was carried out like a breeze, i’ve never felt so relaxed being served at a somewhat high-end restaurant. The owner of the restaurant talked us through the service and made us feel at home, as my arm was in a sling he even cut the food for me (pic. 3) needless to say the food was also impeccable.
I have been in other restaurants where the food tasted better. We did a maridaje lunch and the wines were very strong with a whiskey taste. We didn’t mind much about the wines as we didn’t choose them, however the food disappointed us. Not the best taste. And we had a table in the main corridor, where many people were passing to take away food...
Very nice, classic restaurant. The staff is attentive and friendly. The food definitely deserves what they charge for it. The beef was super tender, fish was fresh and delicious. If you wanna give yourself an affordable treat, this is the place. 2 main dishes, 2 soft drinks and little appetizers = around 60 euros.
